June 2010: World Expo in China, Shanghai: ERC Session and Press briefing during the EU Science and Technology Week at the EU/Belgian Pavilion + presentations to a large group of "Science and Technology Fellows" + visits to Tsinghua University and met with the China National Natural Science Foundation and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. August 2010, ERC representatives visit to Japan, Tokyo: visits to key institutes, the main funding agency, government agencies, and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEXT)+ presentations for researchers at Tokyo Institute of Technology (TITECH) and RIKEN + network event with EU Science Counsellors and CNRS/DFG officers based in Japan.
