6 1.Introduction to the Software Sigma 3000 Imposa player Imposa Tools VPU 3000 Offline message editor and LDU file management software. Software to edit and dispatch program files for synchronous display. Imposa Setting and maintenance software for the LED screen. VPU control software. 2.System requirements for running the software CPU: Intel Pentium or Celeron MAX 1G MHz or higher RAM: 128MB or larger Usable USB or RS232 port CD-ROM driver OS: Windows 2000, windows XP or Windows 2003 Display resolution: 1024x768, 16 bit or 32 bit Font: Small font Usable Ethernet adaptor ( When in offline mode, lots of time can be saved by using Ethernet to send large volume FLW files on the Sigma 3000 platform) 3.Installing the Software 3.1 Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM driver and run the Setup.exe installation program. You will see the images as shown in Fig.3.1a and Fig.3.1b. 1

8 3.3 Press Yes to agree to this agreement. You will see the window as shown in the Fig Imposa Fig. 3.3 User information and serial number 3.4 Input the user s name in the box under User Name. Input your company name in the box under Company Name. Input the serial number in the box under Serial Number. Then press Next to continue, and you will see the window as shown in Fig

9 Fig 3.4 Selecting a path for installation 3.5 The default installation path is: System disk\ D:\Program Files\Imposa\Imposa Software\.You can press Browse to change the installation path. Press Next to continue and you will see the window as shown in Fig Fig 1.5 Selecting the setup type 3.6 Select Custom as the setup type, press Next to continue. You will see the window as 4

10 shown in the Fig Fig. 3.6 Selecting the Components for installation 3.7 When selecting the components for installation, please refer to the Introduction to the Software. If you have purchased an offline LED display, you only need to install Sigma 3000 and Imposa Tools. If you have purchased a synchronous display, you have to install all of the components. Select the component(s) you want to install, and then press Next to continue. You will see the window as shown in Fig

13 You can find the newly installed software Imposa at Start\Program\Imposa software. 4.Restoration or Deletion 4.1 Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM driver. Run the installation program Setup.exe. 14 4.2 In the window as shown in Fig 4.1b, select your operation. Modify To modify your installation. You can add or remove a component according to the software installation in 3.7. Repair To install the software again according to software installation in 3.8 Remove To remove the Imposa software from your computer according to the instruction in Press Remove, and then press Next to continue. 15 4.4 Wait for the removal to complete. Or you can press Cancel to suspend the removing operation. If you see the window as shown in Fig. 4.4, select Don t display this message again, and press Yes.
