28 State Approvals Four states have a process: New York, California, New Jersey, & Florida Must have approval for both clinical training and residencies Only two Caribbean medical schools are approved in all four. Ross was the first. Significance: >50% of all first year residencies are in these four states

29 Tuition and Fees Total cost of tuition, living expenses, transportation, and fees is comparable with or less expensive than the average private U.S. medical school Cost of Ross is less than the cost at other Caribbean medical schools with similar accreditations and outcomes

30 Residency Training Currently students obtain residency positions Through the MATCH Outside the MATCH As was recently published in JAMA, in 2002 Ross placed more graduates into 1 st year residency positions than any other medical school in the world, including all the U.S. medical schools
