1 Tax and estate planning team December 2015 Kerin Speedie, Associate Director and Head of Tax and Estate Planning Kerin completed an LLB Hons Degree in European Law and Languages followed by the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She worked as a paralegal at a London firm before commencing her training contract here at Whitehead Monckton. 2 Stephen Beck Managing Director Stephen graduated with a law degree in 1991 and studied for the Solicitors Finals at the College of Law, Guildford. He joined Whitehead Monckton in 1992 as a lowly Trainee Solicitor, gaining valuable experience in a wide range of legal disciplines and qualified as a solicitor in He became a partner in Stephen became Managing Partner of the firm in October 2011 where he manages the strategic and operational side of the practice working with the Partnership Board and the Central Services Managers, sometimes successfully! He joined the firm in 1984, opening the Tenterden office the same year where he has continued to base his practice. He lives close by and is involved in all aspects of local life in this part of Kent. 3 Garry Warman Associate Director (Legal Executive) Garry chose to combine both an academic and vocational approach towards his career and whilst working for a local firm of solicitors gained practical experience across a broad range of issues within his chosen field. He qualified as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1997 and joined Whitehead Monckton the same year. He became a Fellow of the Institute in 1999 and proudly became the first Legal Executive Partner of the firm on 1st April He then became an Associate Director when the firm incorporated to a Limited Company in April Garry is based in our Canterbury office. 4 Katie Broadfield Associate Solicitor Katie completed an LLB Law (Hons) degree at Sheffield Hallam University followed by the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law. 5 Nima Stepney Senior Solicitor Nima completed a LLB Hons Degree Law at the University of London, Queen Mary followed by the Legal Practice Course at BPP, London. She then trained at Thomson Snell & Passmore and qualified in She worked at large regional firms in Kent and Sussex before joining the firm in 2015 as a senior solicitor.
