If sending material for an ad to be created by GVMG, the advertiser must provide all text, photos and other graphics necessary for the construction of the ad. GVMG does not possess a library of photos to be used in ad creation. Color Unless you have contracted to run a PMS color, all colors must be CMYK. PMS colors will result in additional charges. Images All graphics and images placed, imported or embedded in your ad must be converted from RGB to CMYK and be a minimum of 266 dpi. Fonts Make sure the fonts are embedded in the file you submit. For best results, select the actual font (such as Futura Bold) instead of applying bold style to regular Futura. If you are using unusual fonts, it is best to outline them (convert to a graphic). Proofs Advertisers must supply a color proof of the ad printed at 100% of the actual size. The publisher does not accept responsibility for, and cannot guarantee, the quality of ads supplied without a proof. Size Ads must be built to the correct size specifications. Over or undersized ads will be adjusted to fit the space ordered. File naming All media should be labeled with publication name, issue date, agency name, phone number, list of contents, advertiser name, contact person (name and phone number), vendor name, file name, and a printout of directories on disc.
