The available Display Audio System 12 is a Honda-first, with its 7" touch-screen that works like a tablet and revolutionizes the way you interact with your vehicle. Also a first for Honda is the available HondaLink Assist 5,11,12,32 automatic emergency response system, while available features like the LaneWatch blind spot display 9 and proximity key entry system with pushbutton start make their Civic family debut, and the available multiangle rearview camera 2 with dynamic guidelines continues to help make backing up a breeze. The Civic Si s 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder DOHC i-vtec engine is perfect for drivers who appreciate the not-solittle things, and thanks to a retuned exhaust, the Si now performs at a pulse-accelerating 205 horsepower with 174 lb.-ft of torque. 1 The engine s i-vtec system delivers instant response and optimum power by producing low-rpm responsiveness as well as high-rpm power. The unique power monitor lets you track the percentage of engine power you re using, the i-vtec meter shows you when the i-vtec system engages the power band and the redline indicator lets you know when you need to switch gears. The finely engineered 6-speed manual transmission makes every shift feel smooth and fluid, and the helical limited slip differential helps make wet conditions and hard corners a breeze. Finally, the front suspension and independent multi-link rear suspensions were also retuned on the Coupe. NEXT GENERATION ACE BODY STRUCTURE The next generation Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body structure disperses frontal impact energy to increase occupant protection. The ACE frame design also allows for collision compatibility between vehicles of different weights and sizes. It was designed to pass the stringent IIHS smalloverlap barrier crash test, allowing the Civic to become the first small car ever to pass it. SIX STANDARD AIRBAGS Six standard airbags line the Civic s cabin.
