2 Summary This program is designed for family physicians as well as nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other primary care physicians who practice in a variety of settings including hospitals, nursing homes, and offices. Objectives The WRC will: Provide an outstanding array of clinical updates for primary care providers in areas of general preventive and adult medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, psychiatry and women s health Highlight the valuable connections between the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians and primary care clinicians in shaping the future of Family Medicine Present evidence-based updates designed to improve primary care practice systems and policies Practice hands on skill development in a variety of optional workshops Develop interprofessional peer relationships and provide opportunities for interaction with referral consultants Exhibitors If you would like to exhibit at the Winter Refresher Course please contact Karen Krause at or kkrause@mcw.edu. ACCOMMODATIONS A block of rooms will be reserved for registrants until December 28, 2014 at a special rate of $109 deluxe, $139 executive suite, plus tax, per night. LOCATION The 45 TH Annual Winter Refresher Course will be held at Country Springs Hotel & Conference Center located just off I-94 in Waukesha at 2810 Golf Road. DIRECTIONS From I-94, exit Highway T north (exit 293). Travel 1/8 mile and turn left onto Golf Road. Drive west on Golf Road for one mile and you arrive at the Country Springs Hotel & Conference Center. REFUND POLICY All refunds are subject to a non-refundable $100 processing fee.
