25 Entry Requirements for ELTC Secure English Language Tests (SELT) The ELTC accepts any Secure English Language Test listed on the UKBA site, the most common of which in Iraq are IELTS, TOEFL and Pearson Non-SELT The ELTC accepts Password and Institutional TOEFL but generally look for a higher performance than the IELTS equivalent. Students presenting a non SELT would need to apply for a Student Visitor Visa and have to then return to Iraq after the English course to apply for a Tier 4 Student Visa.

47 What our students think I studied MSc degree in (Computer Science/Software Systems and Internet Technologies) at the University of Sheffield in I was proud to be studying at Sheffield and felt as though I was at one of the best Universities. Sheffield is a perfect place to study. It is very student oriented and various facilities are provided for students in the campus, such as accessing to the libraries (24/7) and e-resources, group meeting rooms, and many other facilities. these are all free for students. Apart from that, gracious staff and really multinational environment along with the endless help from

48 the staff to gain more knowledge make a place nice academic world and friendly atmosphere. I should not forget to mention that Sheffield is one of the safest and cheapest cities in the country which are very important aspects for students.
