Course Description: This course is designed for students who enjoy small children. Students will study how children grow how to care for children. The physical, emotional, social, intellectual growth of the child is covered in depth from before birth to age six. concepts include the selection of foods, clothing, activities for each age group. This is an activity class; students will participate in a nursery school where they will plan carry out activities for pre-school children during the second half of the course. Students planning careers in elementary or pre-school education, nursing, child care or as parents would benefit from this course.
