1 CareerBuilder and EMSI: Best Jobs for 2013 Requiring Bachelor s Degree CareerBuilder and EMSI have released the best jobs for 2013 that require, on average, a bachelor s degree. The details were summarized in a press release (see this Forbes article), and below we ve provided more information on the top jobs. We used EMSI data to derive each occupation s growth, the estimated total number of jobs in 2012, a brief description of the occupation, the top three cities for concentration, and finally the wage curve, which illustrates what a typical worker in the occupation makes as their career progresses. The 10th percentile earnings approximate entry-level wages for the occupation, while the 90th percentile earnings approximate top-end wages. Note: Although the average education level for these occupations is a bachelor s degree, a portion of workers in each field have attained more or less education than required.
