1 Aims of the Evening: To gain an overall knowledge of what e-safety means and how we can support our children to have e-sense. To celebrate new technologies and how they can enhance our children s lives. To have an overview of statistic that can inform our e-sense. To become aware of the resources that are there to support us in digital parenting.

6 What is e-safety? e-safety is about ensuring that children learn to use new technologies in a way which will keep them safe without limiting their opportunities for creativity, communication and confidence in today s technological world.
