The candidate is advised to fill the said form properly and after filling the said form, the applicant has to take nine photo copies of the said filled form. Professor of Human Resource Management (Open - 01) JDBIMS Qualification and Experience for Candidates from teaching: Ph.D. degree or a fellowship of IIMs, ICA or ICWA or any AICTE approved institution with First Class Master's degree in Business Management Administration/ other relevant management related discipline / PGDBM / PGDM programmes (minimum 2 years duration) recognized by AICTE /MHRD / UGC and declared equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU with 10 years experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research out of which 5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor Candidates from Industry/ Profession with First Class Master's degree in Business Management / Administration/ other relevant management related discipline / PGDBM / PGDM programmes (minimum 2 years duration) recognized by AICTE / MHRD / UGC and declared equivalent to MBA by AICTE/AIU. 4 II. Associate Professor: 1. Associate Professor cum Deputy Director at Centre for Study of Social Exclusion & Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP) (Open-01, SC-01) Tenure basis upto March 2012 i. Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines. ii. A Master s Degree with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). iii. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. iv. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. v. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), as per UGC regulations adopted by State Government. Such candidates will be required to obtain Ph.D. degree or a fellowship of IIMs, ICA Or ICWA or any AICTE approved institution within a period of 7 years from the date of appointment as Assistant Professor failing which the increments will be stopped until same degree is earned. 7 III. Assistant Professor: 1. Assistant Professor cum Assistant Director at CSSEIP (Open-02, SC- 01) Tenure basis upto March i. Good Academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% of marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master s Degree level, in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii. Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) above, candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. iv. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed )at the Master s Degree level in Social work from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii. Experience : Atleast two years experience as Hostel Assistant or Teacher or Counselor or Advisor * Equivalent would mean any other academic programme of 3 to 4 years duration after XII Pay Band of Rs /- with GP of Rs. 4300/- II. Research Assistants at CSSEIP (Open-01, SC-01) Tenure basis upto March 2012 Graduate with 5 years experience or Post Graduate. Age : Not exceeding 35 years Pay Band of Rs with AGP of Rs. 4300/- III. Data Entry Operator at CSSEIP (Open-01, SC- 01) Tenure basis upto March 2012 Graduate with recognized diploma/ certificate in computer applications Pay Band of Rs with AGP of Rs. 2400/- NOTE: (1) 30% posts are reserved for women as per the Government of Maharashtra Rules in that behalf. (2) Persons with disabilities having at least 40% disability are eligible for the post reserved for such a category. (3) B in the seven points scale with latter grades O,A,B,C,D,E, and F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% where ever the grading system is followed. (4) Those who are in service should apply through proper channel. 11

12 (5) The minimum requirement of 55% shall not be insisted upon for Professors, Associate Professor the existing incumbents who are already in the University system. However, these marks shall be insisted upon for those entering the system from outside and those at the entry point of Assistant Professor. (6) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master s level for the SC/ST/Physically Handicapped category. (7) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. degree holders, who have passed their Masters degree prior to 19 th September, (8) A relaxation of the minimum marks at the PG level from 55% to 50% for appointment as Assistant Professor may be provided to the candidates who have cleared the JRF examination conducted by UGC/CSIR only, prior to 1989, when the minimum marks required to appear for JRF exam were 50%. (9) These relaxations will be made wherever applicable. (10) The candidate is required to give his/her contact number/ id in the application form. The candidates belonging to reserved and Physically challenged category can also apply for open posts.
