A Centurion s Servant is healed (Matt 8:5-13; Luke 7:1-10) 1. The Centurion was a Gentile, and a contrast to the Jews 2. Note the Centurion s excellence (that which Israel was lacking) a. Jesus was in the ship for this storm 2. They asked, What manner of man is this? (Mt 8:27, Mk 4:41, Lu 8:25) B. Jesus heals two men possessed with devils (Mt 8:28-34, Mk 5:1-20, Lu 8:26-39) C.
