2 The Aspire mobile App aspire Sports and Cultural Trust is a charitable trust that operates on a not-for-profit basis. The Trust operates three sites GL1 Leisure Centre Gloucester, Oxstalls Sports Park Gloucester and Xpress Fitness Cheltenham. The Trust commissioned Big Wave Media to design, create and launch a mobile app for ios and Android marketplaces.

3 The resulting aspire app covers all three Trust sites and delivers a mix of live timetables, special offers, news, virtual tours, in-app booking and site info. The app is available on the itunes Store and Google Play. By supplying a content management system (CMS), aspire Sports & Cultural Trust are able to update the app content in real-time, making it perfect for the delivery of centre exercise class and swim timetables. Within three months of the app going live over 700 people had downloaded the app. The class timetable for the Trusts flagship site; GL1 Leisure Centre, is accessed over 900 times each month. Driving members and users to the mobile app has allowed the Trust to communicate with users in real-time by sending push notifications and demonstrates how dramatic savings can be made on print materials and wastage. With the app, you ll immediately know when there are new events or classes, ensuring that you ll never miss a special event.

All our timetables are live and in real-time and with the added benefit of having the timetables push straight to our website it means we are also saving valuable admin time.
