3 Overview The symposium will focus on bone and joint issues that may be encountered by many primary care, occupational medicine, ER physicians, and chiropractors, RN s, and therapists in their patients. Participants will review information relevant to orthopaedic diseases and treatments, and be able to apply that knowledge. Objectives supporting the specific goals of each presentation will be provided in the conference materials. The presenters from the Orthopaedic & Spine Center have fellowship training in their subspecialty and/ or board certification. Certificates OCR will provide a certificate of completion for guests to pick up at the conference. CME Credits are not available for the conference. CEU s for ATC s will be available through NATABOC.

6 About the Presenters Robert J. Benz, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Spine Bob Benz specializes in spinal conditions and surgery, including artificial discs, fusion, and kyphoplasty. Dr. Benz joined OCR in He completed medical school at the University of Illinois, residency at University of California, San Diego, and spinal fellowship at Syracuse University. Michael J. Houghton, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Athletic, Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle Mike Houghton specializes in athletic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, including ankle replacement surgery. Dr. Houghton joined OCR in He completed medical school at the University of Colorado, residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, and fellowship at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle. He is part of an NIH study comparing ARS with ankle fusion. C. Dana Clark, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement (Hip-Knee) Dana Clark specializes in hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Clark joined OCR in He completed medical school at the University of New Mexico, residency at the University of South Carolina/Greenville Hospital System, and fellowship at the University of Utah. Robert M. Baer, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Trauma and Fracture Specialist Rob Baer specializes in trauma and fracture surgery. Dr. Baer joined OCR in He completed medical school at St. Louis University, residency at Henry Ford Hospital, and fellowship at Panorama Orthopedics/St. Anthony s Central.
7 About the Presenters continued Alissa Wicklund, PhD Neuropsychologist, Sports Concussion Specialist Alissa Wicklund s specialty is neuropsychology, including the diagnosis and treatment of sports concussions in athletes in team and individual sports. She earned her doctorate in psychology at Northwestern University s Feinberg School of Medicine. She also completed a two-year program as a fellow in neuropsychology at Northwestern. She joined OCR in 2014 after eight years in private practice in Chicago. Wesley P. Jackson, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Athletic, Reconstructive Surgery of the Foot and Ankle Wes Jackson specializes in athletic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Dr. Jackson joined OCR in He completed medical school at Northwestern University, residency at Henry Ford Hospital, and fellowship at University of Texas/ Houston-Baylor. William D. Biggs, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Adult and Pediatric Spine Bill Biggs specializes in spinal conditions and surgery, including artificial discs, fusion, and kyphoplasty, as well as scoliosis management in adolescents. Dr. Biggs joined OCR in He completed medical school at Rosalind Franklin, residency at the University of Colorado, and spinal fellowship at Twin Cities Spine Center, Minneapolis. Satoru T. Chamberlain, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Hand & Upper Extremity Specialist Satoru Chamberlain specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. Dr. Chamberlain joined OCR in He completed medical school at the University of Queensland, Australia, residency at several Australian and British hospitals, including the Greenslopes Private Hospital, and fellowship at Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby, U.K.

Hartman, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Pediatric Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Ryan Hartman joined OCR in 2011 as a specialist in operative sports medicine and pediatric orthopaedics. He completed his medical degree at the University of Colorado, residency at Vanderbilt University, and fellowship in sports medicine at Cincinnati Sports Medicine Center. Dr. Hartman also completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at Children s Hospital, Aurora. Bret C. Peterson, MD Orthopaedic Surgeon, Hand and Upper Extremity A native of Fort Collins, Dr. Peterson joined OCR in He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado, and completed residency at Duke University, and a hand fellowship at the University of Washington. Nathan A. Hunt, DPM Podiatric Medicine, Diabetic Foot and Wound Care Nathan Hunt joined OCR in 2010 as a specialist in podiatric medicine and diabetic foot and wound care. Dr. Hunt completed podiatry school at Scholl College and residency at Loyola University Medical Center/Edward Hines Jr. Veterans Affairs Hospital. He did a two-year fellowship in diabetes and wound care at the Texas A&M Medical School/Scott & White Hospital.
