2 The team of the Associazione Art. Cult. A Rocca and Eprojectconsult International department, in cooperation with CIFP ANXEL CASAL took the role of intermediary partner for group of people from Coruña, Spain in the frame of Erasmus+ programme. During the project named Europa Next Station: Vocational Training Network we hosted 2 selected participants. The training programme was addressed to teaching staff participants in the field of Health and Health Care, and it was containing training practice and job shadowing in one Pharmacy, as well as one study visit in local hospital.

4 Preparation of the mobility project In order to make the cooperation between both organizations effective, guarantee the best quality project and to satisfy the participant s expectations and needs, we have designed the program of the project together. We have exchanged s in order to discuss the aims of the project, to develop the plan of activities and to clarify any doubts. Arrival of the participants The two participants arrived on the 12 th of May at the airport of Catania. The A Rocca organization provided the transfer from the train station of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (hosting town) to their accommodation. On the same day of their arrival they had an informative welcome meeting, designed to give the participants useful information they require during their stay in Sicily. Firstly, they had the introduction to the program in general. The tutor informed the trainees about the organization and described the work activities, obligations and tasks they will be involved in during the project. Next, they were provided with the plan of the city and were acquainted with all the hospitalities of Barcellona P.G. and nearest towns. The next informative session was dedicated to the cultural aspects of their life in Sicily: the work style in Italy, rules to follow, behaviour and other cultural information were given to the participants. The Help me card with useful numbers and phrases in Italian as well as a leaflet with all the useful information they may need (address, rules, tips, etc.) during their stay were distributed.

5 Training programme Details The subject of the training programme for participants was Health and Health Care. The overall goal of this mobility was to improve the training of teachers of Secondary Vocational Cycle to update their skills and thus adapt their teaching to the needs of the productive sectors, improve the skills and employability of students and thus encourage their employability. In order to meet the needs of the project, the programme was containing training practice and job shadowing in one local pharmacy, as well as one study visit in local hospital. The training programme was implemented in the town of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto. The Pharmacy: Maiorana Stefano Mauro, Via S. Francesco di Paola 39, Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Sicily, Italy. The Hospital: Ospedale Cutroni Zodda, Via Salvatore Cattafi 40, Barcellona Pozzo Di Gotto (ME), Sicily, Italy. Goals The overall goal of this mobility has been achieved: the training of teachers of Secondary Vocational Cycle to update their skills and thus adapt their teaching to the needs of the productive sectors, improve the skills and employability of students. Specifically: 1-Enhance the professional development as teachers in order to increase the quality of education and training.

6 2-Establish contacts with different companies for future joint projects to increase mobility opportunities based on student learning. 3-Check and study "in situ" the professional environment in which to pursue their activities the Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy in Italy. 4-Analyze the positive and negative points having the establecementos as possible destinations for the implementation of practices of students, compared to target companies of our country. 5-Understand and assess what kind of business or health centers collaborate with schools, and how it carries out monitoring of students. 6-Increasing capacities, attractiveness and the international dimension of the center, so that it can offer activities and programs that best meet the needs of students abroad. 7-In addition, the contacts established in the destination country for future projects will exchange and mobility of students in our center, increasing internationalization and quality of cooperation projects with other institutions at European level. Activities done: 1-updating and acquiring knowledge of work practices in a pharmacy and a hospital Pharmacy 2.-Stage at Maiorana Stefano Mauro Pharmacy Observe and familiar with the work done at the pharmacy, with special attention to issues that may develop pharmacy technicians and pharmacy, such as: -The structure and organization of the pharmacie. -Labor and ethic habits in the development of professional activity. -Application of techniques of communication and marketing. -Management and control of the warehouse. -Performing administrative operations. -The pharmaceutical management (recipes). -Dispensing of pharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals. -Promoting healthy habits. 3-Visit ay Hospital Pharmacy at PRESIDIO OSPEDALIERO NUEVO CUTRONI ZODDA Vía Cattafi, CP: Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto.

7 -Structure and organization at this Hospital Pharmacy. -Dispensing pharmaceuthical productos and sanitary products. -Management and control of the warehouse at a Hospital. -The pharmaceutical management (recipes) at a Health Italian service. Skills and professional competences acquired: Familiarization with the work done at the pharmacy, with special attention to issues that may develop pharmacy technicians and pharmacy; Knowledge about the structure and organization of the hosting companies; Experience in labour and ethic habits in the development of professional activity; Application of techniques of communication and marketing; Management and control of the warehouse; The pharmaceutical management (recipes); Dispensing of pharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals; Promoting healthy habits; Development of basic laboratory operations; Improvement of skills related to teaching practice; Better understanding of the practices, labour market and the country of destination education system; Enhancing the quality of teaching and activities on behalf of students in teaching and in conducting their practices in workplaces; Better understanding of the interconnections between education and the labor market in other countries of the European Union.

8 Evaluation of the project The evaluation of the project is excellent. Employees of the A Rocca Association and persons involved in this project hope it was a rich and useful experience for the participants. The monitoring team did its best in order to satisfy the expectations of each participant and to ensure the communication with the sending organization at each stage of the project. In order to reach this, there was one final evaluation at the end of the training programme. Participants had chance to see the way of working in Sicily. Certainly, they had an opportunity to get to know a lot of useful information about the functioning of Sicilian enterprises, which are related Health and Health Care. Participants gained worthy experience in working in team, cooperation with colleagues and individual work according to the individual skills of the each candidate. At the end of the project, participants received A Rocca placement certificate. Most importantly the participants gained professionally experience in their sector, so that they will be more competitive in the labour market in Spain.

9 Conclusion Our monitoring team did its best in order to satisfy the expectations of participants. We were always ready to offer help, advice and solve any doubts with our guaranteed 24-hour availability; in any case they needed some assistance. Consequently, the participants seemed to be satisfied with this project. According to their opinion, it was an interesting and useful experience. We hope they found inspiration and got new ideas about how to deal with their future career in their country. We are satisfied because due to their participation in the programme, the participants have enriched their professional experiences. Moreover, participants had the opportunity to explore new horizons by fully integrating in Sicilian culture and meeting many new friends from Italy and from the other parts of world. In addition, the whole group of participants has become good friends, and can still meet each other and exchange their experiences after the project. Our team is very satisfied with the participant s involvement in the project and personal interest of each person involved.
