5 Education Cradle to Career. Be Proactive: Children achieve their potential through a dynamic array of educational opportunities. We know education is the most proactive means to create opportunities for increased fulfillment, prosperity, and security. Enhancing Environments for Children Students can access safe and nurturing places to build the esteem and leadership needed to make healthy choices. 6 Earnings Earn. Save. Succeed. Begin with the End in Mind: Families gain the income and financial tools needed to thrive. We know that in order for families to focus on education and to prevent the need for many safety net services, financial stability is crucial. Financial Stability Individuals and families access financial opportunities and services for increased income and a foundation to succeed. Strategy #9: Hard working individuals have access to mainstream financial services such as low/no-cost checking accounts. Strategy #10: Earners can access free financial supports and coaching. Strategy #11: Hard working individuals can leverage earnings through the Earned Income Tax Credit and accessing free tax preparation services. Strategy #12: Willing workers have opportunities to increase skills for high demand jobs.
