3 Founded on 17 January 2013, ANAPS (Alliance Nationale des Activités Privées de Sécurité - National Alliance of Private Security Activities) comprises thirteen organisations representing all the activities within the sector: human surveillance, electronic security, remote monitoring, transport of cash and valuables, airport security, private investigations, personal protection, security consulting and training. A single and unifying legitimate point of contact At the present time, when a new legislative framework is being drafted for private security (revision of Book VI of the Code of Homeland Security, formerly the Law of 1083), ANAPS, the product of the profession s unity, is a clear and comprehensible point of contact for the government. «I would stress the importance of having before me a united profession, led by an ambitious project, a profession that is a partner of the government in formulating and implementing a security policy to serve all our citizens throughout the country.» Manuel Valls, french interior minister, on the creation of ANAPS Concrete, coherent and concerted action The future of private security depends on our collective ability to meet this challenge in a framework of complementary synergy with public action and not in competition with it. Controlled by the state, public and private stakeholders must coordinate their actions to meet the need for security. We want to act to organise a structured sector with a clear skills roadmap. The Alliance was created to stimulate and strengthen dialogue and cooperation with the authorities, thereby building a solid foundation. A spirit of openness At present, ANAPS brings together 13 organisations. This is a first step and new organisations will join the alliance, which aims to federate all stakeholders. On 19 February, ANAPS presented the Minister of the Interior with its proposals for the revision of Book VI of the Code of Homeland Security. This substantive, collegial and constructive study can be downloaded from the sites of the various member organisations of ANAPS.

5 Fedesfi GPMSE Télésurveillance Patrick Lagarde Fedesfi is the Federation of Trustee Security Companies and was founded in It represents companies transporting and handling valuables in France. 65% of companies in the sector are members. Fedesfi represents the professionals with the public authorities, the social partners and the various stakeholders in the sector, defends the interests of the professionals and promotes the development of trustee security professionals. telesurveillance Timothée Perin GPMSE Télésurveillance brings together companies supplying remote surveillance services via electronic security systems, particularly remote monitoring, image processing and associated teleservices. GPMSE Télésurveillance assists member companies in implementing operational and qualitative solutions via technical committees on which all skills are represented. GPMSE Télésurveillance also provides support for regulatory monitoring and training. GPMSE SCS Philippe Franquet The GPMSE federation works to promote electronic security activities and companies with public authorities, various bodies and all stakeholders in the sector. It provides coordination between member unions and oversees the development of a common vision. Éric Chalumeau The SCS is a federation of consultancy firms and companies specialised in the various fields of security. The SCS aims to bring together stakeholders in security counselling and give greater visibility to their business with public authorities and customers. GPMSE Installation SESA installation Michel Georges GPMSE Installation represents companies that install and maintain electronic security systems, particularly intrusion detection, access control and video surveillance / CCTV systems. In conjunction with the public authorities and national and European bodies, GPMSE Installation highlights the knowhow and ethical code of its members and contributes to the recognition and enhanced professionalism of the activities it represents. GPMSE Installation is actively involved in developing professional certification. Patrick Thouverez SESA brings together private companies in the field of aviation and airport security and is part of the professional branch of private security. The Airport Security activity represents a turnover of over 390 million euros with over 10,000 employees and has grown considerably following the events of 11 September SESA acts as an interface representing the profession with the social partners and also the contractors and regulators.

Fedesfi represents the professionals with the public authorities, the social partners and the various stakeholders in the sector, defends the interests of the professionals and promotes the

6 SNARP Jean-Emmanuel Derny The National Union of Private Investigators is the oldest and largest organisation representing the profession. It has 200 members, 150 of which are widely known. SNARP works to federate this profession and represent it with public authorities. SVDI Philippe Blin SVDI brings together French professionals manufacturing, designing, conceiving, installing, maintaining and monitoring systems in the areas of VDI networks, fire security systems, intrusion detection, access control, remote surveillance and home automation supervision. SVDI promotes recognition of its members skills and services. UNA3P Romain Guidicelli The National Union of Stakeholders for the Physical Protection of Persons brings together professionals in VIP physical protection and security drivers for public figures. The UNA3P aims to develop and enhance these professions as well as defending their interests.
