Grab your passport and visit 6 continents to learn about their people, culture and geography all while creating artwork inspired by native artists. Experiment and create with a wide variety of art materials and styles. Art Adventures: Model Clay Magic: We will use air drying modeling clay that we finish with paints in a rainbow of colors. This workshop will help students learn about the exciting things that modeling clay can create and build their understanding of how shape, image, texture, detail, pattern and color all combine to create expressive pottery. Learn more about what we will make here HeART and Soul Feel Good Art: This class is taught by a licensed therapist and will allow students to create various works of art in a relaxing environment. A new technique will be introduced in each class, along with ways of coping with stress/anxiety/emotions. Geared to working with raising children's self-concept. Life skills, communication skills, and social skills will be part of the learning in class. Projects might include creating hope vessels, affirmation bracelets/picture frames, art journals, storytelling through art, and "inside my head/heart" collages." HeART and Soul Feel Good Art and Fashion for Boys and Girls: Part of this class will be Feel Good Art (see above description) with the second part focusing on fashion. The class in Fashion is for all kids interested in style! How to put together a look book of fashion on a budget, how to find great deals, what looks good on each body type, and self-esteem/confidence building. The emphasis will be on self-esteem and confidence building, basic fashion, and a simple look book* This class is for girls and boys!

4 JumpBunch: JumpBunch is a national leader in kids sports and fitness and a great tool to provide your child with structured physical activity after school each week! Based on the hit TV show Minute to Win It, our exciting 60 Second Challenge program provides a unique and fun curriculum for students in Kindergarten and above! Each week's class includes challenges specifically designed to promote movement, team-building, confidence and problem-solving skills. Teams compete in several challenges each week along with fun games and cardio warm-ups. No two classes are alike! Sign up your child today and don't miss out on any of the fun! Knitting, Crocheting, and Sewing: Moving at their own pace students will learn basic sewing, knitting and crocheting skills, and as skills progress will continue on to machine sewing. Lots of fun and creativity! MindSpark: Tinkering with MindSpark (K-1): Tinkering, focused activity with the right materials in the right environment, can lead to great new inventions. Students become engaged in an open-ended experiment, and make something that represents their ideas. Tinkering is all about making discoveries and using those discoveries in creative ways. This program is best for high energy students, focused mostly on group activities, with some individual projects. Examples of activities include: scribbling machines, MaKey MaKey (turns everyday objects into touchpads), conductive tape, and marble machines. MindSpark: Lego WeDo Construction Tinkering (2-3): The LEGO Education WeDo Construction Set introduces young students to robotics. Students will build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors; program their models; and develop their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as language, literacy and social studies. This program will work with all levels, but challenge more advanced students to experiment with the models and create unique programs. Students will work in pairs, taking turns building the models and programming the computer Science Matters- Zany Zoology and Extreme Electricity: Zany Zoology - If your interests are on the WILD side, then this is the club for you! Explore the world of animals, from A to Z. Examine an owl pellet, get up close and personal with insects, make art from a fish, build a home for a toad, and much more. Classify creatures that slither, swim, crawl, and fly. Unleash your curiosity as we journey through the animal kingdom! Extreme Electricity - Zap! Electrify your interest as we build a working telegraph, experiment with conductors and insulators, make a quiz board, build an electromagnet, and much more. This club takes electricity to the extreme! We ll charge up those electrons and send them spinning around the room. It s zapping science that will give your brain a charge!

5 Space Adventures: Sailing the Solar System Set sail on an amazing journey through our cosmic neighborhood with Sailing the Solar System. This program will take kids on a hands-on & minds-on adventure through the Solar System where they will get to explore Kuiper Belt, search the clouds of Venus for signs of life, build their very own SpaceTime Solar Sailers, pilot a remote controlled planetary rover, explore the lakes of Titan and much more. Sticky Fingers Cooking+Spanish: THYME to TURNIP the BEET on what KIDS EAT Let your child release their inner chef! The DDES students will prepare and eat healthy global inspired recipes all while learning conversational introductory Spanish in a fun, engaging and real world way! Spanish worksheets will reinforce the Spanish language skills associated with our weekly recipes and each area of cooking terminology, foods and fun nutrition facts (even a few jokes!). We will orally practice our Spanish with numbers, measurements, cooking utensils, fresh ingredients while cooking and more! Full recipes and a fun craft will be created each class with our master chef Sticky Fingers Cooking instructor When s the last time you had Ethiopian food? Or yummy Thai, Indian or Greek food? Guess what? Your kids can have a blast every week discovering how easy and fun it is to cook (and gobble-up!) tasty, healthy, American classics and globally-inspired Sticky Fingers Cooking recipes! Sticky Fingers Cooking offers young chefs the chance to explore exciting tastes (all seasonal and as local as possible!), master culinary skills (that they can put to use in family kitchens!) and nourish their bodies and minds WonderLab-Spanish Sing: In this class, students will learn songs in Spanish and English while increasing vocal knowledge and strength. Students will learn: breath control, vocal agility, memorization skills, pitch control and basic Spanish vocabulary and phrases. This class will culminate in a winter performance. This class is taught by a professional musician and performer. WonderLab-Learning Leaders: This class is for students who want to do continue their learning after school. Students may do homework, read, write, inquire and find answers to their wonderings. A certified teacher will help students with homework and build reading and writing skills through inquiry. Creativity and problem-solving are celebrated and used as a jumping-off point for reading and writing projects. This class is taught by a Colorado certified teacher with 15 years experience teaching grades Pre-K-6.
