8 Labor Category Project Manager-2 Project Manager-3 System Architect Analyst-3 System Architect Analyst-2 System Engineer-2 Position Description Performs day-to-day management of assigned task order projects that involve teams of analysts, SMEs, and engineers involved in analyzing, designing, integrating, training, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining large complex systems. Demonstrates proven skills in those technical areas addressed by the task order to be managed. Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all activities associated with assigned task order projects. Performs day-to-day management of assigned task order projects that involve teams of analysts, SMEs, and engineers involved in analyzing, designing, integrating, training, testing, documenting, implementing, and maintaining large complex systems. Demonstrates proven skills in those technical areas addressed by the task order to be managed. Organizes, directs, and coordinates planning and production of all activities associated with assigned task order projects. Provide oversight to customer program, solution architecture development process. Collaborate with the customer to ensure interoperable capabilities are documented in the solution architecture. Must have experience with System Architect, DOORS, System Architect-DOORS interface, DoDAF, NR-KPP, Information Support Plan, and DISA's Enhanced ISP tool. Provide analysis of customer's architecture products and requirements, develop a clear linkage between the two and demonstrate how the constituent elements of the architecture products developed in System Architect could be traced back to the established system requirements in the DOORS database. Associated tasks may include simulation and modeling and/or independent verification & validation. Analyze and revise architecture and modeling work related to acquisition, engineering, and program management efforts. Possesses general working knowledge of industry practices, standards, and technology areas. Prepares, reviews, and evaluates documentation, specifications, test plans, and procedures. Participation in requirements analysis and requirements definition. Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system maintenance life cycle Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Demonstrates expertise in standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
