8 Teesside and Well-being The course is designed to enable students to develop a non-clinical career in public health. It is also for those already working in community development, the voluntary sector, community-led health work, environmental health, health promotion and health and social care who wish to develop specific public health competencies by undertaking relevant parts of the course. Students completing six modules at Level 5 may exit the programme with a Diploma of Higher Education in Health Promotion and Public Health.
