1 Quality Rated Providers This report lists child care providers who have a signed agreement with Child Care Assistance, and hold a national accreditation or certifications through the Texas and Texas Grant! programs. Researching and visiting several different child care programs will help you make an informed choice. You may search for child care programs (even those that are not quality rated), and review child care licensing compliance history at the website below: Child Care Licensing - ability to review the facility information and compliance history Texas (TRS) Provider Certification is a process for improving the quality of child care services provided in Texas. A TRS Provider is a child care provider that has an agreement with CCA to serve Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) subsidized children, and that voluntarily meets requirements that exceed the State's Minimum Licensing Standards for child care facilities. The TRS Provider certification system provides graduated levels of certification as providers meet progressively higher certification requirements. The report will indicate how many stars a provider has been designated. - Providers who earn an is another way to judge the quality of a program. They have to meet higher standards than licensing rules. The program must offer a quality program, and it must provide activities and experiences that will improve a child's growth and development, and that will help them prepare for school.
