Paragraphs that are too long are likely to lose the reader s attention. Do not use emotional words., e.gs, felt Spell it out when you use the acronym first time in your paper with ( ) o NLS?, National Literacy Strategy (NLS?, Riley, 2001) In References section, for two authors, you should put a comma before &. Always a comma right before & the last author. References: Smith, R. J., & Jones, F. R. (2004). In Text: I love you (Smith & Jones, 2004). Smith and Jones reported that When you list something, put comma right before the last word When you talk about authors outside of () in the main text, you should NOT use & Put a comma between author and year (Carter, 2006). You should not sound overly enthusiastic, be objective.

Only the first letter of the first word. Make section more concise o Some of them say similar results, you can combine the similar results from different studies together. More importantly, you want to examine whether the intervention is effective; or you want to compare between less and more creative people; or you want to explore there is a relationship between level of creativity and level of moral development; or you want to find a difference in the effectiveness of the intervention between less and more creative people, etc. What do you want to do? A research study by Robert Marzano found higher rates of teachers confidence in the use of technology correlated with higher percentile gain in student achievement. Student achievement appears to improve when teachers are confident in the use of technology to augment their classroom instructional practices (Marzano, 2009). o Marzano (year?) a positive relationship between teachers confidence in the use of technology and student achievement. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of interactive white boards (IWB) and student response systems (SRS) in the classroom. Specifically, the study will see if student achievement on standardized assessments increases with the use of these two technologies. o You have to make everything concise and simple. o The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of IWB and SRS in student achievement on standardized assessments. Hypothesis: The policies of England in literacy assessment are more effective in preparing students to compete globally than those of the U.S.

Smith and Hardman (2000) found a negative correlation between socioeconomic levels (SES) and test scores. Luyten et al. (2009) found similar results. o If they found similar results and you do not talk about their study again, then just combine the two studies together. o ~~ test scores (Luyten et al., 2009; Smith & Hardman, 2000). All of the four below must match. They do not match. 1. Title: Determining the Effect of the Use of Interactive Whiteboards with Student Response Systems in the Classroom on Student Achievement. 2. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of IWB and SRS in student achievement on standardized assessments. 3. Research question. After reviewing the literature, the following research question is proposed: How do the instructional methods in which interactive whiteboards with student response systems used in the classroom affect the degree of student achievement? 4. Hypothesis. The hypothesis of this study is that teachers utilizing the best educational practices with the use of both IWB and SRS will have a greater increase in student achievement on state standardized assessments.
