Do not get your hopes up in being the first one to do so, because the army has already established its full implementations and everything is up and running! The Lean Six Sigma operations are especially designed to serve army functions and purposes. These practices are fully aligned with the armys priority of speeding up their business transformations and process improvements. A group called IMCOM is responsible for deploying the use of Lean Six Sigma in order to increase army productivity and reduce their costs as well. Large companies have incorporated the use of Six Sigma in their approach to management. After a few years, it has been popular to most corporations that it is already being used by small and medium size companies. This has lead to the development of Six Sigma training of various depths. There are various titles a business professional can get. This is the Six Sigma green belts, yellow belts, black belts, and the master black belt. So what are the differences between these titles? It resembles the karate lingo that exemplifies the intensity of power and skill. The person with the title of Six Sigma green belt has the knowledge of the various statistical tools and is usually assigned to get the measurements and data for the projects. On the other hand, the person with the title Six Sigma Black Belt is the instructor and the coach of the green belt. He dedicates his time in finding ways to influence and motivate positive change in the workplace. Moreover, he is the one who assesses and comes up with complex ideas to further improve the task. As the term suggests, a design risk analysis is a process that determines the different potentials for risks in the procedural design and implementation. When using Six Sigma, however, the assessment for such design risks is not a formal procedure that is done at the very last step of the process. Instead, it is part and parcel of the entire duration of the process itself. It finds its starting point at the very beginning where conceptual designs begin and where exercises for evaluation continue until the initial prototype undergoes extensive testing. In Six Sigma, the design assessment for measuring the potential risks involve design simulation testing during the steps where the testing of the detailed design and its sub assemblies are viewed with the purpose of completely eliminating the different risks and cutting back on the shock value of the design failure. For the first time, Six Sigma design risk assessment surpasses the CTQ technique by being able to come up with a much broader evaluation base. As it turns out, one cannot overemphasize the need for design reliability because there are so many potential hazards and faults that go way beyond that of the company parameters. It is imperative that design risks not be overlooked, and by using Six Sigma even the service offerings in the manufacturing aspect are handled in a very adroit and efficient manner. Clearly, Six Sigma design is a useful way of making sure that company risks are kept at a minimum, if not fully eradicated.

Aside from analyzing the cost effective methods, it uses statistical tools which are based on the principles of probability. Most of the time, people think that having additional work reciprocates more employees. This is not necessarily true at all times. Having the proper technology and marketing strategy will definitely make the projects produce better results without having to pay for additional workers. But is Six Sigma expensive? The cost of the Six Sigma methodology may vary. This is basically calculating the cost of lost time and money due to some wastage or rejects which should have been saved. The project on hand should be based on the procedures or methods that will be the most economical without giving up the quality of the products or services. Before a task is started, it should pass through cost considerations and rigorous planning. The management should at least have a Six Sigma training and have some certification. Having Six Sigma Black and Green Belts would equal to competent employees who can handle problem solving and decision-making. These trainings of course require some fee but luckily, there are free Six Sigma trainings online. All you need is to search for those sites which offer such trainings and tutorials. Make sure that you end up with the right web site and dedicate time to it. It will be useless if you get free Six Sigma training without putting your heart to it.
