1 New York Enrolling a New Small Group (1-50) in IDEA

2 We listened to what you had to say and now it s easier than ever to enroll new small groups (1-50) with our online enrollment tool, Idea Management System SM (IDEA). We didn t just overhaul the look our entire system has been given a facelift to streamline the process and make it more user-friendly. Enroll up to the maximum number of plan designs allowed by your state s specific small group underwriting requirements at once. Instant quotes are now available without starting a group quote through the new Quick Quote feature. Simply enter the ZIP code and group effective date to view available plans, rates and Summaries of Benefits and Coverage (SBCs). The ability to filter plans by metallic level, type, accumulation period and additional coverage has been added to the Quotes for Proposal Page (Configurator Screen). You will also be able to compare up to four plans side by side. Links and tabs at the top of each page will now be used to move through the tool, instead of the left navigation bar. The online Group Enrollment application is now a tabbed application broken out by content. Plan Participation questions have been spread throughout several screens to improve your user experience. Log in Go to oxfordhealth.com. Log in to the Broker portal with your username and password. Home Click the Enroll Groups Online link under the IDEA Management System menu on the right side of your screen. You will be directed to the landing page. 2

3 This screen is where you will begin to see changes. From here you can enroll a new group or generate a Quick Quote. If you just need a Quick Quote for discussions with your group, follow the steps below. If you are ready to enroll a new small group, skip ahead to the Enroll A New Small Group section. Get a Quick Quote Quick Quote Click the Quick Quote link at the top of the screen or from within the Small Business Services menu. Then enter the group ZIP code and effective date and click continue. Quote Display This screen displays available plan designs, single rate cost and a link to each plan design SBC. (Note: Since group census data has not been entered yet, monthly rates will not be shown.) You will have the ability to: Filter plan design options by metallic level, plan type, accumulation period and available additional coverage. Sort by price. Increase or reduce the number of plan designs you view. Compare up to four plans side by side and print the comparisons for use with clients. To start enrolling a new group from here, you can simply select the Start a quote button. 3

4 Enroll a New Small Group Begin Enrollment To start enrolling a new small group, click on the Create proposal before enrolling link in the Small Business Services menu. Group Information Enter group information, such as number of eligible employees, group name and effective date, as well as select all products you wish to quote (e.g. medical, dental, etc.) here. Group Participation Enter total number of employees, retirees and valid waivers here. 4

5 Group Contract Types Indicate the total number of plans and employees for each contract type for each option here. This screen will appear if you are quoting medical coverage only. Add Employees Enter the number of plans the group will have, as well as the group census information on this screen. You may upload the group census information from an Excel spreadsheet. This screen is for groups quoting medical and specialty coverage. 5

6 Group Census Information This screen appears when quoting medical and specialty coverage. It will populate with all of the data entered on the Add Employees screen. Generate Quote for Proposal Point of enrollment (POE)/Class Distinction dropdowns will display if more than one plan is being quoted. Filter plan design options by metallic level, plan type, accumulation period and available additional coverage. Sort by price. Increase or reduce the number of plan designs you view. Compare up to four plans side by side and print the comparisons for use with clients. 6
