1 Eligibility Requirements fr Veritas s Licensing Prgrams The Veritas end user licensing prgrams have been designed t address the requirements f the Crprate, Gvernment and Academic market segments. Eligibility requirements fr each prgram are detailed belw. Crprate Licensing Prgram The Veritas Crprate Licensing Prgram is available t any cmmercial legal entity with a valid tax identificatin number. Lyalty Licensing Prgram The Veritas Lyalty Licensing Prgram has been designed specifically t enable legacy Symantec Rewards custmers t purchase Backup Exec nn-capacity based sftware licenses and supprt at their Rewards discunt levels as f Octber 2, Only Rewards custmers with a valid Symantec Accunt Number (SAN) are eligible fr this prgram. The Lyalty Licensing Prgram is valid thrugh September 30, Custmers f the Lyalty Licensing Prgram will be able t cntinue t purchase Backup Exec thrugh the Crprate, Gvernment r Academic prgrams after September 30, Gvernment Licensing Prgram The Veritas Gvernment Licensing Prgram is pen t all levels and departments f gvernment rganizatins, certain gvernment partners and nn- prfit rganizatins. Eligible rganizatins include: Public sectr entities that encmpass universal r critical services which are cntrlled by natinal, state r prvincial, and lcal gvernments. Such entities include, but are nt limited t: All Federal (executive, legislative and judicial) agencies, departments, cmmissins, bards, ffices, cuncils, r authrities All municipalities, special districts, city, cunty r state gvernmental agencies r departments, cmmissins, bards, ffices, cuncils, authrities r ther agencies in the executive, legislative, r judicial branch f state r lcal gvernment Symantec Crpratin. Ineligible rganizatins include, withut limitatin: Nnprfit rganizatins that have nt btained recgnized charitable status in their respective cuntry; Healthcare rganizatins such as hspitals, healthcare netwrks, health plans, ambulatry/utpatient, nursing hmes/assisted living, hme healthcare, and health research rganizatins and labratries. Exceptins include: Federally qualified health centers that receive grants under Sectin 330 f the Public Health Service Act (PHS) Independent nnprfit rganizatins with the fllwing missins: cmmunity, behaviral and wmen s health clinics; hspices; emergency services; and bld, tissue and rgan banks.
