GTP-32 Control Processor Assign a Source Event to control an Action SOURCE EVENT ACTION
GTP-32 Control Processor Assign one Source Event to control many Actions 1 EVENT MANY ACTIONS
GTP-32 Control Processor Share Source Events across GTPs Action Tally Source Event Utah Router
Configuration Tip: GTP-32 Control Processor Configure the GTP that performs the Action Action Tally GTP #1 GTP #2 GTP #3 Configure GTP #2 to monitor Source Event on GTP #3. When Source Event turns ON, local Tally turns ON. Utah Router Source Event

GTP-32 Control Processor Event Monitoring Web Page Source Event Action
GTP-32 Control Processor Event Monitoring Web Page Source Event Action
GTP-32 Control Processor Source Event Action: How it Works Source Event turns ON Execute ON Function Source Event turns OFF Execute OFF Function More than one Source Event controls the same ON action: Any Source Event can execute the ON action (Logical OR) More than one Source Event controls the same OFF action: All Source Events must be OFF to execute OFF action (Logical AND)
GTP-32 Control Processor Configuration Web Pages Display Status Event Monitoring Web Page Source Event OFF= Green ON= Red GPO Action OFF= Green ON= Red NOTE- Momentary GPIs and GPOs always display OFF
GTP-32 Control Processor Source Event Processing The GTP-32 processes a Source Event (i.e: GPI) only when it changes state. Changes from ON to OFF, or OFF to ON A Change of State Notification tells the GTP that a Source Event has changed state. Turned off or turned ON The GTP requests (registers for) Change Of State Notifications for all of the Source Events entered into its Event Monitor Table The GTP registers for both local Source Events and for Source Events on a remote GTP-32 Registration requests and responses are event logged Registration requests only occur for local Source Events immediately after GTP power up Registration requests only occur for remote GTPs when a successful connection is made, or re-established, to the remote GTP
CONDITIONAL CONTROL using Combinatorial Events More than ON or OFF GTP-32 Control Processor Considers multiple inputs before choosing ON or OFF, or allowing a change to be made Provides a simple way to disable control when it is not needed and enable it when it is needed Creates more than one possible action based upon operator key press and system status Create simple logic statements in Combinatorial Event Definition Table. Supports OR, AND, NOT logic

Troubleshooting On the Event Monitoring Table web page For the entry that is not working Is the Source Event and Action entered in the EMT? Does the STATUS column show Enabled? GTP-32 Control Processor Does the CONNECTION column show Local or Remote? Does the EVENT STATUS column show OFF or ON? If the CONNECTION column shows Offline, the GTP cannot connect to the remote GTP. Check the remote IP address. If the EVENT STATUS column shows Pending or Error, check the spelling of the Source Event Label and that it exists. For a remote Source Event, check that the Source Event exists on the remote GTP.
Using the Event Logs: Troubleshooting GTP-32 Control Processor Does the Source Event appear in the Event Log during the time of interest? If not, check the Source Event. NOTE- If the Source Event is not used in the EMT or by a remote GTP, it will not be logged. After receipt of the Source Event, does the log show a DMP Event or DMP Action after it? If not, check the EMT ON/OFF Function entries. Does the log show Remote Device OFFLINE for remote GTP? Check the entered IP address for the remote GTP. Check the remote GTP. The log will show "EPS: Event [source label] notification sent to x registrant(s) where x is the number of users registered for the source event. The user may be a remote GTP or the local EMT.
Troubleshooting Device control and monitoring On the Protocol Assignment Table web page GTP-32 Control Processor Check the STATUS column on the far right. Does it show Connected? If not, check the connection between the GTP and device. Also, check the configuration of the device. Is the correct protocol name shown in the CONTROL PROTOCOL column? If not, check the PHY Config and DEVICE Config settings in the Protocol Assignment Table.
Troubleshooting When contacting DNF Controls for assistance: GTP-32 Control Processor Provide a short description of the problem. Include the Action or Source Event that did not work (if known), and the approximate time that the problem occurred (if known). Send a copy of the Event Logs for the day or days in question. If possible, please compress the log files prior to sending them. If the problem involves multiple GTPs, send Event Logs from each of the GTPs. After reviewing the submitted log files, DNF Controls may request additional information regarding GTP configuration and operation. DNF will provide detailed, written instructions on how to collect the requested information.
