6 General precept regarding surplus credits: If transfers of concerning courses CR03: 7,310, 8,310, 7,315, 8,300, 7,320 and 8,320 result in surplus credits, then a maximum of 4 credits can be credited towards core elective or electives under CR10. Special provisions: Students who have attended CR03: 9,300 Experimental Economics can have this course credited to core electives, with 3 credits awarded for it. Students in this situation must no longer attend the course on Behavioral and Experimental Economics offered under Course Regulations 10 since in terms of content, the two courses are equivalent. The new compulsory course on Advanced Mathematics and Statistics (4 credits) is offered as a MiQEF core elective under CR03. Students who have attended the course will have to have it credited to them under CR10. Students who have not attended this course will have to attend it under the new Regulations. B. MiQE/F core electives Under CR03 there is one single set of courses amounting to 6 credits. Under CR10 there are now three sets: Field Courses Finance/Econometrics (8 credits), Field Courses Economics (4 credits) and Other Core Electives (4 credits). Generally speaking, core electives attended under CR03 can be credited towards core electives regardless of the three new sets of courses. Please note: only one single crediting application can be submitted. Please note: only one single application to have compulsory courses and core electives credited can be submitted. Any later cancellations and retransfers are precluded. C. Electives and contextual studies Any elective courses and contextual studies courses that have already been attended under Course Regulations 03 will have to be credited to Course Regulations 10.
