7 Motor Carrier Safety Compliance Application of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) to motor carrier industry operations. Emphasizes the practical side of regulatory compliance including: Parts and Accessories; Out-of-Service Criteria Hours of Service Controlled Substance/Alcohol Testing Inspection, Repair, Maintenance Qualification of Drivers; CDL Requirements Safety Fitness; Financial Responsibility Length 4.5 days Audience - Personnel who have responsibility for administrative oversight of DOT regulatory compliance in accordance with the FMCSR s

8 Motor Carrier CMV Periodic Inspection & Maintenance Covers all aspects of commercial motor vehicle inspection and maintenance requirements found in the FMCSR s including a motor carriers responsibility to ensure that individuals performing the periodic inspection under 49 CFR Part are qualified. Explain the different levels of inspections in the North American Standard Roadside Inspection Program Hands-on practical group exercise using actual CMV s Coverage of 49 CFR Parts 390, 393, and 396 Length 3 Days Audience - Personnel who have responsibility for DOT regulatory compliance regarding the requirements of maintenance and/or inspection of commercial motor vehicles.

9 Motor Carrier Hours of Service Designed to give you guidance or refresh your knowledge of the Hours of Service requirements in the FMCSR s. Training provides in-depth knowledge and skill in the Hours of Service compliance regulations and exemptions contained in 49 CFR Part 395. Calculate hours of service logs and perform log verification by participating in practical exercises regarding rest periods, 11 hour rule, 14 hour rule, 11/14 hour rule, and 60/70 hour rule Hands-on practical exercises to calculate HOS Coverage of 49 CFR Part 395 Length 1 Day Audience: Personnel who have responsibility for DOT regulatory compliance regarding the requirements of hours of service for drivers of CMV s.
