4 HISTORY After arranging for babysitters and spending an overly expensive afternoon at the salon, the founding sisters decided there had to be an easier, more cost effective and longer lasting way to accessorize their nails. The sisters began to brainstorm different ideas for a nail covering that could be applied at home, and would allow for intricate details in the design. From previous manufacturing experience working with similar materials, Adam, co-founder and husband of Jamberry sister, Christy, began a several month process with the sisters of experimenting and fine tuning a product that was both durable and easily applied. Jamberry launched October 1, In only the first few months, the company was greeted with interest and sales that surprised even the most optimistic predictions. The company began with a direct to consumer model, and despite this success, decided to embark on a new home party plan model to meet the growing number of Jamberry fans asking for a way to share and sell the product on their own. On July 1, 2011, Jamberry started to test out the home party model. Less than a year later, on June 9, 2012, Jamberry officially launched into the direct sales party plan industry. Launching Your Business JAMBERRY UNIVERSITY - ONLINE TRAINING CENTER Jamberry University was created to help you get acquainted with the company, and to help you achieve your business goals. The university curriculum contains interviews from seasoned leaders and home-office staff, together with worksheets and other mechanisms to solidify what you learned. Jamberry University is a valuable resource that we recommend every new consultant complete to get off to a great start. GOALS If a thing is worth doing, it s worth doing well. 9 WHO YOU KNOW One of the most important factors to your success as a Jamberry Consultant is the number of people with whom you re able to share your new product and opportunity. You may be surprised at how many people you know and with whom you can share the Jamberry products and opportunity. Take a few minutes to write down all of your contacts, as these people will be a great start as a potential guest list for your launch party. 10 YOUR BUSINESS LAUNCH PARTY Before you start setting up parties with hostesses, we encourage you to first kick off your new business by hosting your own party. This will help you get a feel for how a party functions. You will be able to experiment with what works best for you and what doesn t. You can become more comfortable with the products and the demonstration of the application, and can experience your first party with your own friends and family. Inviting those closest to you is a great way to get people to your first party, and is also a nice opportunity for you to receive feedback. Everything you need to launch your first party is provided in your Starter Kit. Making sure you have the right materials on hand is key to the success of your party. And, don t forget to ask your Sponsor for advice. You might even ask her to be there to support you during your launch party. Hostesses Finding & Coaching BOOKING PARTIES Booking parties is simple! First, you will need to find your hostess. Just by wearing Jamberry nail wraps, you will naturally get asked where you got them and how they work. This is a great opportunity for you to let people know how much you love Jamberry and how fun the parties are. Another great way to find hostesses is by letting people know you re a Jamberry Consultant on your blog, Facebook page, Twitter, or other media outlets. Marketing the idea of a Jamberry Party is easy. Once the people you know see how cute your nails are and how they can be applied at home, they will be excited to host their own party and receive their own free product! You can let potential hostesses know what s in it for them free nail wraps and the chance to impress their friends and family with this fabulous product. HOSTESS COACHING The most successful Jamberry Consultants know that the biggest key to their success is the Jamberry party. To make the most of your time, and provide the greatest return on the efforts of your hostess, each party needs to be a success. By motivating and coaching your hostess well in advance and leading up to the party, you ll be more likely to have a well attended party with more sales, and a more rewarding and lucrative experience for both you and your hostess. Your workstation contains a Host Success Planner that you can print off, and host training materials to plan and execute a great party. HOSTESS REWARDS Our Hostess Rewards Program is one of the most generous available in the industry. We want to make sure your hostess has a great experience opening her home for your party, and is generously rewarded for her efforts. The table on the following page describes the hostess rewards possible at various party revenue levels. 12 Past Hostess Booking Benefits: A hostess can earn additional half-priced benefits when a guest from their party books and hosts a Jamberry Party of their own within three months of the original party. Party sales must be $150 or more for Past Hostess Booking Benefits to be activated. The originating hostess will receive an with a coupon code to use once the booked party reaches $150 in sales. The booking must be linked to the original hostess while the party is still open. See your workstation for additional training on this subject or contact your Sponsor or Upline Team Manager. Successful Partying BEFORE THE PARTY Once you have hostesses who are ready to host parties, you ll want to prepare them with a few important details: Together set a date, ideally within the next two weeks, to host a party. Ask them to invite as many of their friends and family as possible, and set the expectation that a minimum of 10 adult guests will help secure a successful party. To ensure 10 guests, the host should have at least 15 people committed to attend. Help them with ideas for sending out invitations (i.e. e-vite, personal and phone invitations, posting their party on their blog/facebook/twitter accounts, handing out flyers, etc.). Inform your hostess of what she needs to provide for set up. A table that is close to an electrical outlet for product applications and a place to display product and catalogs will be needed. Set up the party in your workstation. (See Training video Before the Party on your workstation.) AT THE PARTY Setup and preparations: What to bring: a) The application tools that come in your Starter Kit, plus additional hair dryers or mini-heaters. You will need at least two for demo stations. b) Catalogs/Brochures c) Sample Nail Wraps d) Order Forms e) Your party calendar with the days and times you are available to do a party so the guests can book parties right there! f ) A door prize or survey slip found under documents in your workstation. Your hostess may want to prepare some light refreshments something simple that won t get in the way or be distracting. Lay out your catalogs, sample cards, and other products. During the party you will give a brief overview of the product. Let everyone know how much you have enjoyed your nails, how long they last, and how many compliments you have received. You will also demonstrate the application process for everyone to see by applying the nail wraps on yourself. After 12 Jamberry Nails 2014 For Consultant use only

13 our demonstration, encourage everyone to experience Jamberry by having them use the sample cards and try to apply the nail wraps themselves. We recommend only laying out a few sheets of sample cards so that everyone can apply wraps to one or two nails, not an entire application of either hands or feet. As the Jamberry Consultant, you will help the guests and give them tips while they re applying their nail wraps, while explaining the benefits and features of the product. The sample application combined with the social interaction is the most important part of the Jamberry party experience. Customers gain confidence in the product, in you, and in their own ability to apply the product during this part of the party. A great experience here will lead to partiers that are more likely to purchase and share their experience with friends. More detailed training on how to present a Jamberry party is found on your workstation. After demonstrating the product, invite the partiers to place their orders. Identify those partiers most interested in the product and Jamberry and invite at least one person to host a party or to become a Consultant. NOTE: Unless you are a licensed nail technician, applying nails on customers is not permitted. Please encourage customers to observe you and then practice applying the nail wraps on their own. AFTER THE PARTY Be sure to thank your hostess and follow up with her in a few days after the party to receive any follow up orders. All home party orders must be submitted to Jamberry within 5 days from the date the order was given to the Consultant. Catalog and online parties may not remain open longer than 14 days, and all orders from catalog and online parties must be submitted within 5 days of closing. Commissions are paid weekly and bonuses and overrides are distributed no later than 10th day of each month following the commission period. If the 10th falls on a holiday or weekend, checks will be sent on the next business day. Consultant Recruiting & Sponsoring SHARING THE OPPORTUNITY New Consultants often think recruiting is something only experienced Consultants can do; that they should become really good at selling and booking before sharing the opportunity with others. Nothing could be further from the truth! Why? Because brand new Consultants are the most excited! You have just found a great way to earn extra income, earn free products and make new friends. Share this enthusiasm and excitement with everyone you meet! Sharing the Jamberry opportunity is the most rewarding part of the business, both personally and financially. ONGOING SPONSORING While you can be successful on your own as a Jamberry Consultant, imagine if you had a team of Consultants running their own Jamberry businesses, with a percentage of their sales coming back to you! Sponsoring your first Consultant is an important step in building a scalable, profitable business. The more Consultants you welcome to your team, the more you will earn. As a Sponsor, the success of your Consultants and your own personal success will rely on your ability to coach and develop your team. Taking the time and effort necessary to support and motivate your team will lead to greater rewards and satisfaction for you and each of your Consultants. A Coaching New Consultants Guide is in your workstation. Managing Your Business Calendar: Whether your goal is to work your business part-time or full-time, you will need to schedule time to make calls, follow up with leads and do parties. One of the most important things you can do is set a work schedule and stick to it. Set aside the appropriate time in your calendar to work your business. Schedule your work time and write it in your calendar, just as you would a doctor or dentist appointment. Decide what days or nights of the week you want to hold your parties and stick to it. Let your family know so they can plan accordingly. Go through your calendar and actually pencil in the times you wish to hold parties. Stick to that party schedule by only placing your parties on the dates you choose. This establishes a good work habit of calendar control early on in your business. Workstation: You can login to your consultant workstation by clicking the Consultant Login button on the Jamberry homepage ( Learning to make the workstation work for you will help you operate your business more efficiently. The workstation provides easy-to-use technology to place orders, schedule parties, access training and marketing materials, view personal and team performance reports, and communicate with your team. Expenses: When you joined Jamberry, you joined a very small number of the population that are business owners. As such you have access to significant tax advantages and savings that most people who work for an employer do not even if you have not officially organized an LLC or corporation. Take advantage of these savings from the beginning and keep track of your expenses and mileage so that come tax time you can enjoy the tax savings to which you are entitled. 14 Jamberry Nails 2014 For Consultant use only

15 Fundraisers Jamberry Fundraisers are an option to promote your business and help organizations raise funds in an exciting new way. Fundraisers may be offered to clubs, groups, organizations, sports teams, religious groups, really any legitimate organization looking to raise money. A fundraiser is essentially a Jamberry party (either live party or catalog party); however, instead of receiving free and half-priced products, the organization receives a cash contribution of 10% of party sales from Jamberry. The contribution is based on the total guest sales before shipping and tax. Products will be shipped to the address on the order check. The check will be sent directly to the designated organization at its address. The fundraiser check must be payable to an organization and not to an individual. The organization is not eligible for other host benefits such as free products, half-price items, etc. When you are ready to close your fundraiser, support@jamberrynails.com and include the full name of the organization and its mailing address. The Jamberry Support Team will issue the check and close the fundraiser. Consultant Policies POLICIES AND PROCEDURES When you signed up to be a Consultant, you agreed to the Consultant Policies and Procedures which contain a general list of Consultant do s and don ts and Jamberry policies on various subjects. If you are unsure about whether you are permitted to operate your business in a certain way, check the Policies and Procedures in your workstation and more likely than not your questions are addressed. If you have additional questions, you may compliance@jamberrynails.com. JAMBERRY OFFICIAL FACEBOOK FAN PAGE Consultants may not post comments from their personal fan page to the Company s fan page. Consultants may post photos of Jamberry products, but may not link or tag their photos on our fan page. Consultants may not ask for or direct business to themselves on the Jamberry fan page. Spamming fans is prohibited. Negative language or cursing will not be tolerated. Consultants in violation of these policies will be banned from the fan page and could be subject to having their business website suspended or terminated.
