5 SERVICES PROVIDED Guarding Specializing in all disciplines namely, Gaming, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, National Key Point, Hospitality, Hotel, Entertainment. We provide personnel that will contribute to the enhancement of our business partners image. Investigations In-house, assistance with professional, comprehensive and discreet investigation if required. In addition, Malandela Security Services has formed an Investigation network and preferred supplier status with reputable company s whilst also continuously interacting with various law enforcement agencies. Close Protection Venue Security Due to our extensive experience and network, we provide a unique service whether it be discreet or visible. Experience includes celebrities, radio personalities, concerts, special events, etc. Our innovative strategies, systems and secure preferred network ensure our competitive advantage for services ranging from small, medium and national events. Electronic Equipment & Surveillance Our direct experience including surveillance, monitoring officers, access/egress control systems and our relationship with preferred suppliers for technology specific requirements, allow the company to offer specialized services. Conflict Resolution Officers Trained and qualified personnel utilized for events, crowd control, venue security, hospitality and gaming, to observe and eliminate conflict scenarios prior to security risk situation. Current clients include amongst other, Sun International, Century Group, Akani Group and SAB. Fire Protection & Related Services Malandela Security Services currently provides services for fire and emergency response incorporating Fire Department ( Station Officers / Firemen ), Ambulance and emergency medical response services. 6 EXPERIENCE The senior management, management and supervisory experience within the company is extremely vast exceeding a combined 125 years in total. As a company, we firmly believe our employees are an asset and the success of any service delivery relies largely on the welfare of personnel and the management and supervision thereof. Malandela Security Services has various communication platforms in place to ensure open and transparent communication via the likes of Employee Representative forums, grievance procedure and Employee Trust representatives, ensuring the attention of personnel at all times. 7 SERVICE QUALITY Malandela Security Services strives for excellence and continuous improvement and in so doing it is policy to formulate Quality Management Systems specifically aimed at each business partners unique requirements rather than via a generic approach. Various initiatives, in conjunction with our business partners are currently used and these range from Core Competencies modules including identified effective areas, standards required, standards achieved and corrective action to Mystery Guest auditing whereby independent consultants audit and submit scorecards. The company also utilizes a customer satisfaction questionnaire to determine service standards which complements existing service level agreements used by business partners, this is focused on direct service delivery by personnel on the ground, management and supervision. 8 RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION Educational requirements Minimum matric or higher education Client specific training provided Screening & Vetting Pre employment reference checks Criminal record checks ITC checks Discipline Disciplinary codes formulated by Labour Relations Consultants / coincide with latest LRA. Selection Criteria Preference given to previous industry experience and reside within service area Be functionally literate Satisfactory communication skills in English South African citizen with valid Identity Document. SIRA Knowledge Test Training & Development All staff members are registered with SIRA, soft skills and specialist training will be provided by outsourced consultants where applicable. Management and supervisors will re-emphasize existing procedures and introduce new concepts which are conveyed through continuous on job training. To ensure that this training is achieving the desired level of progress, each member is required to complete a Site Knowledge test monthly. If the required set standard is not achieved the member has one opportunity to re-write and thereafter is removed from site to ensure that corrective action does not impact on the business unit.
