5 HR Administrator (Recruitment) Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic administrator to join our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all essential recruitment processes, driving forward KPI s, turnaround times and filling vacancies efficiently. Working alongside our friendly and supportive team, you will plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload and have experience of working with HR policies, procedures and systems. You should have exceptional organisational skills, be methodical in your approach to tasks, and be meticulous in all your duties also displaying the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels within the organisation. This is a challenging and diverse role meaning you must have a flexible, proactive and willing approach to work. Main Duties and Responsibilities To be responsible for the administration of the college s recruitment processes, circulating internal and external advertisements on the college website and preparing relevant application packs ensuring compliance with Equal Opportunities legislation. To facilitate interview arrangements, notifying candidates and preparing and issuing relevant documentation. To prepare and issue offer packs and issue relevant paperwork, ensuring all necessary pre-employment checks are complete and conform with current employment legislation, including List 99 checks and DBS Risk Assessments. Support managers in recruitment best practice keeping them informed on the progress of their recruitment.

6 Main Duties of the Role Managing the intranet recruitment section and ensure prompt upload of vacancies. Responsible for ensuring that DBS checks are undertaken in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice, ensuring all documents and identification are stored and maintained accordingly. Liaising with external agencies on the publication of press advertisements to meet strict deadlines. Main Duties and Responsibilities To prepare contracts of employment and contract amendments for new and existing staff, issuing relevant paperwork and correspondence from RED and Appointment forms. To instruct payroll regarding starters, leavers and contract changes, working to strict deadlines. Enter new employee details and changes on Agresso system, ensuring all relevant screens are completed. Responsible for keeping single central record, SIR and Equality & Diversity data up to date. To check new employee files are up to date and meet the required standard for audit purposes. To maintain and update the HR system with any changes inclusive of location, line manager, department, salary etc. and therefore ensuring all other college processes and systems function effectively. Produce reports when necessary, providing data and statistical analysis of data. Assist with the development of HR recruitment processes, policies and procedures including reviewing recruitment standard template forms and letters.

Experience of working within an administration environment. Experience of using IT software and packages. Experience of dealing with people at various management levels throughout an organisation. Knowledge of safeguarding DBS process and procedures. Experience of working within a HR environment. Experience of using HR software and packages. Experience of setting up and maintaining efficient filing systems. 9 Benefits (Terms and Conditions) Terms and conditions of employment: Will be those for Grade 8 staff - Sixth Form Colleges Terms and Conditions. Salary for this grade: 16,636-18,367 per annum (Potential to progress through the salary grade every September through satisfactory performance reviews and completion of the Colleges mandatory training). Hours of Work: 37 hours per week finish on a Friday at 3.15pm Pension: You will be enrolled in the Colleges Greater Manchester Pension Superannuation Scheme. Holidays: 32 days, plus 8 bank holidays per year.
