The "NEISAS Project" is the Project "National and European InformationSharing and Alerting System" JLS/2008/CIPS/016 NEISAS, co-funded by the European Commission, Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security. The "NEISAS Proiect Manager" is Dr. Sandro Bologna from ENEA. 1. Object. 2 Foglio n. 2 gives you an assignment of support to the Project JLS/2008/CIPS/016 NEISAS "National and European Information Sharing and Alerting System" The tasks that you are requested to fulfil the following: 1) To support ENEA in the definition of the framework model for information exchange, (le) using your past experience in UK supporting CPNI initiative on information sharing. 2) To support ENEA in the definition of the Requirements for an ICT Platform supporting information sharing at national and European leve!. 3) To support ENEA in the evaluation of the results coming from the application of the ICT Platform in the three countries involved in the project (Italy, UK and Netherlands). The Expert will respond of his work to the NEISAS Project Manager. The Expert will deliver two intermediate Reports on the state of the work, within the first 30 days of publication on website the second by December 31, 2010, and a Final Report within March 31st, In each of the above mentioned Reports, the numbers and the dates of the working days in which the related work was performed must be specified. AlI the results coming from the current assignment will be completely owned by ENEA; any scientific publications connected to the current assignment must be previously authorized by the ENEA Project Manager to the Expert, and the NEISAS Project must be mentioned explicitty. 2. Responsible for the Assignment. AlI the directives pertaining to the fulfillment of the assignment will be given by the Responsible for the Assignment. ENEA appoints Dr. Sandro Bologna ( sandro.bologna@enea.it) as the Responsible for the Assignment. 3. Amount, invoicing and payments. The effort requested is a total of 100 (one hundred) working days paid at a daily rate of 440 (four hundred and forty) euro. ENEA will pay the total compensation of ,00 (forty four thousand) euro, VAT inc1uded,by three instalments: the first of ,00 (twelve thousand) euro after approvai of the first Report by the ENEA's Responsible for the Assignment, the second of ,00 (twelve thousand) euro after the approvai of the second Report, the third of ,00 (twenty thousand) euro after the approvai of the Final Report. AlI the payments will be performed within 60 days from receiving the invoice, previous approvai of the related work by the Responsible for the Assignment. The appointment has effect from the date of publication of this post on the website and the ending date of the assignment is March 31st, ENEA retains the right to revoke this assignment at any time with a lo days notice; in such case only the work done until the interruption of the assignment as indicated above will be paid, nothing will be given as a burden for lost profits or any other compensation or reimbursement. 5. Termination. In case of extraordinary intervening event upon their obligations, es. force major and Act of God, this contract can be terminated; the contract may also terminate on request by any of the two contractors, before the end of the assignrnent, if the obligations coming from it are not fulfilled, or in the case of mutuai agreement of the contractors, to be recorded on a written document. 6. Confidentiality. Documents, procedures, methodologies or any other information leamt by the Expert during his assignment must remain secret and cannot be communicated to anyone: any violation to this restrictive covenant will put an end to this assignment. Should any third part file a lawsuit against the Expert because of a non authorized disclosure, ENEA will assume no liability. This clause has for ENEA essential character, and its violation gives rise to the termination of office of law in question without prejudice to the right to compensation, directly or indirectly. 7. No Subcontracting. The assignment must not be subcontracted, either as a whole or part of it. Should this happen, it will be cancelled. 8. Disputes. The parties will attempt to settie amicable any dispute which may arise between them under this contract. If it's not possible to settle amicably and if is not resolved within 90 days either party may begin legai proceedings. 9. Competent Court. Any possible controversy must be submitted only to the Court of Rome. lo. Taxes. Will be bome by Or. David Sutton ali taxes related to the execution of this task, including the possible registration. VAT, if due, will be bome by ENEA to the extent permitted by law. 11. Default rules. Italian laws will be applied to anything which has not explicitly mentioned in this document.
