Three-time winner Broker-dealer of the year 1961 Minneapolis Association changes its name to Imperial Financial. Western Life moves to downtown St. Paul, Minnesota 1969 Imperial Financial is purchased by the St. Paul Companies and later becomes 1978 Western Life and move to Woodbury, Minnesota 1985 Western Life and are sold to AMEV. changes its name to AMEV.
