12 SmartTruck Project with DHL Express All parcels are loaded in the SmartTruck RFID tags and reader are used to check that the right parcels are on board Dispatch can change the turn-by-turn navigation route on the VC6096 dynamically based on the input from the GPS signals of 500 Taxis in Berlin. Dispatch sends the optimal route, based on the current traffic conditions, via the WAN (HSDPA) to the VC6096 Turn-by-turn navigation on the VC6096 guides the driver to the first parcel delivery, using the built-in GPS capability. VC6096 clearly shows which parcel needs to be delivered. VC6096 connected with XR480 RFID reader, checks if the right parcel is delivered. Dispatch can check at any time which parcels are still on board and which have been delivered by connecting to the VC6096 remotely.
