4 DIGITAL DYE-SUBLIMATION PRINTING Banners Costumes Airport Ads Custom Flags Feather Banners Media Backdrops WHAT IS IT? SHORT ANSWER: Fabric printing. TECHNICAL ANSWER: Images are digitally printed on coated paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabrics in a heat press. Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of image. Total dye-sub print capacity of over 50,000 square feet per day. Consistent 1080 dpi resolution (vs. the industry average of 384 dpi). Over 100 stock fabrics on hand at all times plus hundreds more available by special order. Dedicated fluorescent ink printing capability the most innovative technology in Dye-Sub! We print with aqueous (water) based inks then transfer to fabric (instead of direct-to-fabric using solvent inks). The heat transfer process offers better ink absorption and saturation, making your images look better and feel better to the touch. And aqueous based inks are more Eco-friendly than solvent inks.

Digital Ultraviolet (UV) printing is the process of using UV inks instead of traditional inks. Traditional inks are solvent based and dry by allowing chemicals to evaporate over time. UV inks are dried (cured) with UV light. Our UV printers can print on both rolled and rigid (sheet and board) materials, giving us the utmost versatility in materials. OLYMPUS GROUP S DIGITAL UV CAPABILITIES Printing up to (3 meters) wide and 2 thick. That s the widest UV flatbed print width available! True output resolution of up to 1500 dpi. White ink printing capability means we can print on clear and colored substrates, giving us more flexibility to meet your creative requirements. Digital solvent printing is the process of ink jet style printing using solvent based inks. The chief advantage of solvent inks is that they are cost effective and enable printing on flexible, uncoated vinyl substrates, which are used to produce vehicle graphics, billboards, banners and adhesive decals. Unlike most aqueous inks, prints made using solvent-based inks are generally waterproof and ultraviolet-resistant (for outdoor use) without lamination, but laminates can be applied for graphics with long term outdoor use expectations (like vehicle wraps). Latex Inks are water-based inks that combine the best characteristics of solvent inks and waterbased inks. Automated second side print registration for double-sided prints improves accuracy and print times, and gets jobs into finishing faster. Produce high-resolution prints up to 1200 dpi. High-quality, outdoor durable printing on self-adhesive vinyls and banner materials for outdoor use. Vehicle wraps and graphics can be laminated right after printing, reducing turn-times. Flexible ink layers conform to complex surfaces like vehicle bodies, making digital latex printing a great option for vehicle wraps.
