4 2:00pm 3:00pm SESSION 5: Understanding member behaviour for more effective engagement For most of the population superannuation is (to be blunt) boring, and they would rather think about something else. Therefore engaging them in a conversation, or even getting them to change their behaviour around superannuation can be extremely difficult. Changing people s behaviour is not easy at the best of times, changing their superannuation behaviour is even harder. This presentation will take us through what psychologist and advertiser, Adam Ferrier understands about behaviour change. Ferrier will share the behaviour change model developed by his agency, Naked Communications. The model articulates six clear steps required to change behaviour, and will be populated with colourful examples and language. Adam Ferrier, Founding Partner & Consumer Psychologist, Naked Communications Colin Tate, CEO and Group Publisher, Conexus Financial 3:00pm 3:30pm Afternoon Tea Proudly supported by our Bronze Industry Partner 3:30pm 4:30pm SESSION 6: Mergers and Group Insurance - let the challenge begin Where does insurance fare on the priority of funds in the preparation and consideration of a merger? What are the consequences of changing insurers? Do members sometimes fall through the cracks? What can we as an industry do to identify the "sleeper issues" in the case of a merger and do we really understand the unintended consequences? Our panel will explore this topical and timely issue. Laura Wright, General Manager, Operations, NGS Super Sean Costello, Senior Associate, Holding Redlich
