3 Cloud Adoption Survey In July 2015, we asked our network of 1,000 senior business personnel five questions about their cloud adoption strategy, frustrations and concerns about cloud

4 1. What percentage of your IT applications are currently hosted in the cloud? Over a third (36.47 per cent) of surveyed UK senior business leaders host less than ten per cent of their business s IT application on the cloud

5 2. Why has your business not moved all its IT applications into the cloud? Over a quarter of respondents deemed the price of cloud hosting to be too high One fifth of respondents cited security issues as a barrier

6 3. What is your greatest frustration in regards to cloud services? Over 16% of respondents cited a lack of technical support available when problems occur Over a quarter of respondents have no frustrations at all

7 4. What is your greatest concern in regards to cloud services? The greatest concern cited by those surveyed was a lack of knowledge

8 5. Would any of your concerns lead to you take your applications off the cloud? Over a third of all respondents stated they definitely would remove their current IT applications away from a cloud hosting solution
