1 NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY WHAT IS COVERED Warranty Begins : The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is first delivered or put into use (inservice date), whichever is earlier. Basic Coverage Period : Nissan by NMT warrants that it will be either repaired or replaced any part that Nissan suppliers is defective in material or workmanship under normal use except those items listed uner What is Not Covered for a period of 36 months or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The warranty is limited for only servicing done by Siam Nissan service center which listed in this booklet. Fully Transferable : Warranty coverage is fully transferable to subsequent vehicle owners. THESE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE DIFFERENT FROM NORMAL WARRANTY Tires : Tires are warranted under a separate warranty provided by the tire manufacture. Defective tire will be considering claim in percentage by calculation of Remaining Tread Depth against Original Tread Depth in each model specified by Tire Manufacturers. Tires are warranted 24 months or 50,000 kms. Whichever comes first. Battery : Battery is warranted 12 months or 20,000 kms. Whichever comes first. Exhaust pipe / Catalytic Converter : Exhaust pipe / Catalytic is warranted 12 months or 20,000 kms. Whichever comes first.

2 Air Conditioner : The air conditioner which fixed in factory also belongs to the conditions which shown at air conditioner warranty card separetely from car warranty. In case of no separate warranty card, the air-conditioner will be warranted the same as the vehicle. o Liquid-tank will be warranted 12 months or 20,000 kms. Whichever comes first. WHAT IS NOT COVERED Maintenance is at Owner s Expense : Engine tune-up, Wheel Alignment adjust, Wheel Balance, lubrication, cleaning and polishing, replacement of filters, Lubricating materials, Grease, Coolant, spark plug, fuses, bulbs, wiper blades, brake pads, clutch plate, valve adjusting shim, brush, Gasket, Hose, Engine monting, Air condition belt, Engine belt charge, are some of the normal maintenance service all vehicles require. Lack of Maintenance of ues of Wrong Fuel, oil or Lubricants Repairs and adjustments caused by improper maintenace, lack of required maintenance, or the use of fluids other than the fluids specified in your Owner s Manual are not covered. Factors beyond the Manufacturer s Control : Repairs and adjustments required as a result of misuse (e.g., racing, overloading), negligence modification, alteration, tampering, disconnection improper adjustments or repairs, accident and use of add-on parts/material are not covered. Normal Noise, Vibration and Deterioration : Normal noise, vibration, wear, tear, tear or deterioration, such as discoloration, fading, deformation or blur is not covered. Altered Mileage : Failure of a vehicle on which the odometer mileage has been altered or changed so that vehicle mileage connot be readily ascertained is not covered.

3 Extra Expenses : Incidental or consequential camages such as Hotel bills, fuel cost, telephone calls, loss of time, Express way bills, tow charge inconvenience or commercial loss are not covered. Windshield Glasses : Broken of windshield glasses are not covered. Vehicles not had any free inspection service ( 1,000, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, 40,000, 50,000 kms.) done by Siam Nissan service center (name listed shown in this booket) are not covered. Failure of body paint or rusty according to lack of maintenance and incorrect use including parking at poor environment area. Stone chipped and paint scratched will not be covered. Obtaining Warranty Service : You are responsible for delivering your vehicle to any Siam Nissan Service Center in order to obtain warranty service. Free Maintenance Service : We are proud to stand behind this claim by offering 6 times free inspection 1,000, 10,000, 20,000, 30,000, 40,000 and 50,000 kms. At no charge to you (Except for any lubricants, fluid, parts used since they are regular maintenance service items) Free inspection is specified distance and time, otherwise your privilege would be cancelled. You are requested to bring your vehicle for free inspection service at any Siam Nissan Service Center (name listed shown in this booklet)

4 Maintenance Service (Owner s expense) You are responsible for properly operating maintaining and caring for your vehicle in accordance with the instruction contained in your Owner s Manual, Please bring your vehicle for periodic maintenance service at 30,000, 40,000,..kms. At any Siam Nissan Service Center Remarks : If your vehicle always run in a heavy traffic condition or severe use, the periodic maintenance service should be halved i.e. every 5,000 kms. Diesel engine : Oil changing interval is at every 10,000 kms. Oil filter will be changed at every 10,000 kms. But in severe use or heavy traffic, oil filter should be changed at oil changed also. Transmission and differention oil changing every 20,000 kms. Automatic transmission oil changing every 40,000 kms. Diesel engine : Only model TD engine oil changing interval is at every 5,000 kms. Oil filter will be changed at every 10,000 kms. Maintenance Record : You are responsible for keeping maintenance records since it may necessary in some instances for you to show that the required maintenance has been performed. Recommendation Please retain this booklet in your vehicle, the booklet will verify your vehicle s warranty eligibility and have to presented to any Siam Nissan Service Center whenever warranty service and free inspection are required. If you encounter any troubles or defects, please immediately contact with any Siam Nissan Service Center or Showroom.

5 SUGGESTION FOR BODY PAINT MAINTENANCE What Can You Do to Help Protect Your Nissan s vehicle against Corrosion? In order to help protect your vehicle against corrosion, it is important that you care for your vehicle regularly, following these suggestions : o Wash regularly using cold clean water and a mild vehicle wash soap. o If insects, tar or other similar deposits have accumulates on your vehicle, wash it as soon as possible. o Wash your vehicle in the shade, because direct sunlight and chemical in washing liquid may effect to the paint. Under certain conditions, special care should be taken protect your car against corrosion. o If you detect any stone chips or scratches in the paint, touch them up immediately. o If you do much driving of gravel roads, consider to install mud or stone shields behind each wheel. o If you car was damaged due to an accident or similar cause which destroys the paint and protective coation, your vehicle should have been repaired as soon as possible.
