5 Objectives Herzing University offers regionally accredited, U.S. undergraduate and graduate degree programs to students around the world through several program structures. Herzing University's approach is to enter strategic partnerships in conjunction with recognized, fully-accredited higher education institutions outside the U.S. in the following methods: 1. Herzing University provides U.S. degree programs in conjunction with local higher education affiliates at tuition levels appropriate and competitive for their local countries, in many cases far lower than those associated with travel to study in the U.S., by providing all or part of the degree program in their local country. All of these courses are taught by Herzing University, with students able to study for one or more semesters at our U.S. campuses. These are sometimes termed as 4+0, 3+1 or 2+2 programs. 2. Herzing University provides U.S. degree programs in conjunction with local higher education affiliates at tuition levels appropriate and competitive in local international markets. These programs, often 3+1 or 2+2 programs, include transfer of local academic credit from an accredited affiliate, usually 2 or 3 years of study, followed by 2 or 1 year of study taught by Herzing University locally. Often the students will earn both the local and the Herzing University U.S. degrees after approximately four years of study. Students can also choose to complete the Herzing University courses at our U.S. campuses. 3. Direct recruiting of Herzing University students for our U.S. campuses. Although usually not the main form of affiliation, often this is combined with 1. and/or 2. above. Herzing University provides a significant affiliate recruiting fee to our affiliates for these students. Often Herzing University will cooperate with direct recruiting agencies for this service, depending on the student dynamics in a region. Often several of these formats are combined together in these affiliations. Because these programs are core to both institutions' academic activities, Herzing University seeks international affiliate institutions which share a strategic, long term cooperative interest to be successful for students and their families.
