National regulator delivering risk-based, cost-effective and consistent national regulation of workplaces, encouraging compliance to improve health, safety and rehabilitation outcomes through education and appropriate, balanced enforcement. Excellence in scheme management and design working with scheme participants to achieve a sustainable, fair and best practice national scheme. We provide expert advice to the Minister for Employment, the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission (SRCC) and Seafarers Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Authority (Seacare Authority), and provide leadership in policy and scheme design. Efficient and cost-effective corporate management providing high quality, timely management of corporate services, supporting business innovation and improvement by leading corporate planning and building the capability of our people. The teams Positions are available in the Liability Management Team and the Intelligence and Data Analysis Team. The teams responsibilities include: development and delivering performance reporting and analysis for scheme and claims management performance and liability outcomes identifying trends and drivers of scheme, claims and liability performance calculating and communicating annual workers compensation premiums for employers assisting with the development of scheme design through the provision of innovative data product development and reporting supporting the development and maintenance of Comcare s business intelligence reporting facilities 2

3 Overview of the role (APS 5 and 6) As a Business Intelligence Report Developer, you will: use the Business Objects toolset and advanced SQL to deliver Business Intelligence and reporting solutions, assist with design and development of Comcare s reporting framework support Comcare s Business Intelligence reporting system, including access controls deliver accurate, timely responses to ad-hoc queries from the Executive, business areas and external stakeholders create reports to support evidence-based decision making quality control of existing and new reports contribute to analyses to identify emerging issues and trends contribute to the development of performance metrics for both internal and external stakeholders For the APS 6 role, in relation to the above, you will be expected to demonstrate significantly stronger technical and communication skills to learn and operate with limited supervision. About you The successful candidate will demonstrate: experience in SAP Business Objects Information Design Tool, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, or similar toolset proven information product design and production skills advanced SQL skills including data densification and query analysis In addition, you must be able to: deliver reporting solutions that contribute to strategic priorities ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines as a member of a diverse team structure written and oral communication to ensure clarity develop and maintain collaborative and strategic working relationships obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance 3
