2 Faculty Biographies Session 508 Fiona Arnold Fiona Arnold is the executive vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer of Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:MTN) and has served in that position since June Prior to that she served the Company as deputy general counsel since September Ms. Arnold oversees the Company's legal, risk and compliance departments and is a member of the Company's executive committee. From , Ms. Arnold served as associate general counsel for Western Gas Resources, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. From 2001 to 2003 Ms. Arnold was vice president of Legal and Business Affairs and assistant general counsel for Crown Media Holdings, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. Ms. Arnold started her legal career in Australia in 1993 before joining the law firm of Jones Day in Dallas, Texas, in 1998 where she practiced securities and transactional law. Ms. Arnold also serves on the Boards of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and the Colorado Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. Ms. Arnold is a native Australian and received her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Tasmania in Hobart, Australia, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in Adelaide, Australia. She received a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia in Adelaide and her Master of Laws from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Luiz Eduardo Bittencourt Freitas Luiz Freitas is general counsel and chief procurement officer of Renova Energia S.A. (BOVESPA/RNEW) and has served in that position since November Mr. Freitas is in charge of the Company s legal, compliance and procurement departments and is a member of the Company s executive committee. Mr. Freitas has worked at the following law firms: Pinheiro Neto Advogados, from 1999 to 2003 and from 2005 to 2007; Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados, from 2004 to 2005 and Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados, from 2007 to He has also worked as in house counsel at EDP Energias do Brasil S.A. during the February to November period in Mr. Freitas is a native Brazilian and received his Law degree from the Pontificate Catholic University in São Paulo PUC/SP in In 2004, he concluded specialization in arbitration and civil process Law at Università Degli Studi di Milano and in a Corporate Finance MBA at Getúlio Vargas Foundation. In the Latin American Counsel Awards 2012, Mr. Freitas has been recognized as the best in-house counsel in Latin America working for regulated (non-financial) companies in of 9

3 Matthew Willis Matthew Willis is Director at Roaring Fork Ventures and serves as General Counsel of PuttStrong LLC. Mr. Willis works with firm investment portfolio companies to manage legal and regulatory concerns. He has over a decade of private practice and corporate counsel experience through IKON Office Solutions, Fowler Schimberg & Flanagan and Hogan & Hartson. Mr. Willis has prior management consulting/banking experience and an MBA from Northwestern- Kellogg School of Management. Mr. Willis has written a number of articles around law department management and technology topics. Mr. Willis is and active pro bono advocate with prior work involving Access to Justice legislation. He serves on a number of civic and legal associations including the ACC Chicago Board of Directors and Chicago Bar Foundation Leadership Circle, Mr. Willis graduated from Miami University and the University of Colorado School of Law. 3 of 9
