3 DIPLOMA Class of 2012 and beyond all students must have 23 credits to graduate. The New Graduation Rule eliminates Georgia s tiered diploma. (no career tech or college preparatory diploma, etc.) We are no longer setting high expectations for just some students. As a state, we are saying that all students can learn at a high level. HOPE GRANT for students attending Georgia public technical colleges or certificate/diploma programs Out of State Colleges - HOPE does not cover tuition for any out of state college.
31 Bridge Bill & Ga College 411 The General Assembly of Georgia enacted the BRIDGE Act House Bill 400 in This act was passed to ensure Georgia s 6th -12th grade students are aware of available career and postsecondary education options. FCBOE schools must have 100% completion this year. All 9 th graders will take an interest survey and follow the links to choose potential careers. At the end of the task, they will save at least 3 different careers. Students will use
