19 NAVIWAVE project NAVIWAVE - Availability And Accuracy GNSS For Maritime Navigation Scope: The purpose of the project is to develop NAVIWAVE system, which provides EGNOS accuracy maps in harbours. The EGNOS accuracy and availability will be calculated taking into account terrain (represented by Digital Terrain Map) and positions of other ships provided by AIS, based on the parameters provided by user like a time of prediction, selected harbour area and position of GNSS antenna on the ship. Product: The outcome of the project will be NAVIWAVE system, supporting decision-making process in the maritime navigation through providing information about availability of the GPS/EGNOS in harbour taking into account terrain and existing infrastructure 19
