With our solutions, business consumers like companies (multi-sites), hotels, recreation and healthcare (hospitals and extra-mural care) can enjoy all benefits that interactive television offers today. Our solutions are totally modular. In this way, the television system can be configured exactly according to the requirements of the customer. Our solutions will be delivered turn-key in combination with a service maintenance model in order to take all your TV concerns off your hands. 3 Content management An interactive TV solution consists of three components: Content (TV signals, Electronic Program Guide (EPG)) IPTV Platform (interactive platform, management module, end-device) Local network As independent system integrator we can convert all types of content (video, audio, EPG meta data) in the required format. Usually content is available in DVB-C (which is possibly accompanied by security) on location, where the content is distributed over the local network. Increasingly, the B2B market picks up the content from the Dutch operators (Ziggo Zakelijk, UPC Business, KPN Zakelijke Markt, Canal Digitaal) in IPTV Multicast. But with only content you are not there yet. An interactive TV platform is needed to make an interactive TV experience with a nice interface and functionalities possible. 4 Interactive TV platform As said, besides content an interactive platform is needed. This platform shapes the intelligence that enables the interactive TV experience and controls all devices. This platform consists of the following components. It starts with registering the users of the TV solution (management). Furthermore, it includes the services (applications and widgets) of which the users can make use, the TV channels that can be watched, and matters like look & feel (the user interface) are managed. The administrator of the system can manage these elements easily in a web portal. Of course, we give a training in order to get you familiar with the system. Subsequently, the platform manages everything that has to be done to control the Set Top Box (STB, the decoder), the smart/connected TV, the streamers, content security and so on. Many functionalities are available to offer an amazing, perfectly-suited user experience. In order to offer the B2B market a tailor-made package, the just mentioned features are modularly available, and can thus be expanded as required. 5 Technical configuration The platform can be installed in various ways. The solution can be built up locally in the technical space of the B2B provider, or choose for a hosted solution with which the platform is be made available to you from the Divitel datacenters. In this hosted version, a VPN (virtual private network) connection enables the connection between you, the Divisio.TV platform and the B2B provider s technical area. In this situation, the platform is not situated at the B2B provider, but at the Divitel datacenter. In this way the B2B consumer can be connected quickly and efficiently and management can be done effectively by Divitel s engineers. Hence, all TV concerns are taken off your hands! 6 Interactive TV applications We can deliver interactive TV solutions for various purposes in the corporate market. Because of this, B2B partners cannot only enjoy TV in a personalized environment (user interface) but also make use of useful features that fit your target group. This features are offered from an interactive platform, but can also be realized by combining internet services. That makes it a nice and advanced solution which is very useful for the corporate user! Below a number of specific user groups and the corresponding benefits of the interactive TV solution are mentioned. Besides this list, we deliver a so-named WDK (widget development kit) together with it, with which new applications and features can be developed and implemented easily. By means of this kit, the B2B operator can align the TV experience with the target-group s requirements even better. Because of the flexible nature of the solution, it is possible to use it in other situations as well; we are happy to think along with you! For healthcare Because of the increasing digitalization of healthcare, also the demand for innovative solutions that bring together information, clients (both intra- and extramural) and healthcare organizations has increased. With this solution the TV provider can always profile themselves on the TV with a customized look & feel (user interface), useful services (apps and widgets), information push services, etcetera. Of course, the B2B provider can manage the services himself. The TV provider can choose to show the same selection to every end-user, or divide the content in different sub-groups. For each group of users, the TV can be changed into a very useful communication tool! Interactive Hotel TV Hotels and hospitality suppliers can now offer more than just a nice room or a good dish. Hotel guests (both consumers as business guests) expect more and more a multi-media experience that include not only a standard television, but also relevant information. Next to that, people would like to make use of their own smart device (bring your own device = BYOD). Hotels can offer a nice TV service that is totally branded in the look & feel of the hotel. Furthermore, smart hotel services can be offered like placing minibar orders, view your bill, request a taxi, etc. on the TV whenever the guests wants. What is most of all smart, is that pre-integration of the content management system (CMS) of most used hotel systems can be integrated in the TV solution. In this way the hotel does not need to add up the use of an extra system! Obviously, this interactive TV solution can interact with other devices that are often already there in this sector, like hospitality smart TV s and hospitality STB like the Amino H140 and several other STBs.
