INTRODUCTION AT&T Connect is an application architecture solution that allows end-users to participate in conferences using their PC, Mac, phone and mobile devices to create multiple participant conferences over the Web that include data, voice and video sharing. This document describes the main system components, the hardware and software requirements of AT&T Connect, and the capacity of each of these components. AT&T Connect Front-End Applications The AT&T Connect front-end is comprised of the following components: AT&T Connect Participant Application: An end-user application running on the MS Windows. The Participant Application enables users to share voice, data, video, and to view conference participants. AT&T Connect Participant Application for Mac: An end-user application running on Mac native client environments. The Participant Application enables users to share voice, data and to view conference participants. AT&T Connect Web Participant Application: An end-user Web-based application supported by most common Internet browsers. The Web Participant enables users to host and participate in web conferences. AT&T Connect mobile applications: End-user applications running on iphone/ipad, Android and BlackBerry. The mobile applications enable users to view the list of participants, shared content and interact with the conference. AT&T Connect Recording Converter: An end-user utility for converting AT&T Connect recordings (VCM or VCR) to a standard format. AT&T Connect add-in applications (Microsoft Outlook Add-ins, Microsoft Office Communicator Add-in): End-user applications that enable users to schedule and enter AT&T Connect conferences directly through other applications. 6 2. AT&T CONNECT SOFTWARE COMPONENT AVAILABILITY Version 9.5 does not include a software release of all AT&T Connect software components. Some components that have not been modified since the last software release are not part of the released components. Table 1 lists the available components for version 9.5 release. 11 Add-ins for Microsoft Outlook Add-ins for Microsoft Outlook This section summarizes the requirements for desktop computers running the AT&T Conferencing add-ins for Microsoft Outlook. Note: The Add-in for Microsoft Outlook is no longer supported for use on the Microsoft Vista 64 bit operating system. Add-in for Outlook 2007/2010 Table 6 summarizes the requirements for desktop computers running the AT&T Conferencing addin for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010. Table 6 Requirements for AT&T Conferencing add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010 Operating Systems MS Office Applications Additional Requirements Windows XP Windows Vista Windows 7 Latest Service Pack must be installed. All Operating Systems are supported on 32 bit and 64 bit machines Outlook 2007/2010 plus the most recent SP. MS Outlook must be configured in Exchange mode. versions include Exchange 2003, 2007 and 2010 MS Internet Explorer 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 Firefox 3.6 and above Google Chrome Note that the newest versions of browsers are being tested on an on-going basis. The following must be installed on the target computer:.net Framework VSTO 2005 SE Runtime (Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Outlook) with Language pack PIA (Primary Interop Assemblies) If necessary, these components can be installed during add-in installation. The following must be installed on the target computer:.net Framework (for Windows Vista, this component must be installed manually) VSTO v4 (Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Outlook) with Language pack PIA 2010 (Primary Interop Assemblies) If necessary, (VSTO4 and PIA2010) can be installed during add-in installation. Add-in for Microsoft Office Communicator and Microsoft Lync Table 8 summarizes the requirements for desktop computers running the AT&T Conferencing addin for Microsoft Office Communicator and Microsoft Lync. Please consult with the AT&T Connect Professional Services group to implement this add-in. 13 Participant Application for iphone/ipad (v3.0) Participant Application for iphone/ipad (v3.0) To use AT&T Connect Mobile for iphone/ipad you need: One of the following supported operating systems: IOS 5.0 or higher One of the following supported devices: iphone 3GS/4G/4GS/5 ipad/ipad2/ipad3 An active 4G, 3G or 2G GSM cellular network or WiFi connection (The AT&T Connect Mobile application does not function in airplane mode). Participant Application for Android (v2.0) To use AT&T Connect Mobile for Android you need: One of the following supported operating systems: Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) Android ICS One of the following supported devices: Samsung Galaxy S2 (i9100) Samsung Galaxy SII (i777) Samsung Infuse 4G (i997) Samsung Galaxy SII Skyrocket (i727) HTC Inspire 4G (PD98120) Samsung Galaxy Note Samsung Galaxy SIII An active 4G, 3G or 2G GSM cellular network or WiFi connection. A conference that was initiated on AT&T Connect v9.2 with SP1 or higher. Note: If you use an Android device other than those listed above, you can still use the AT&T Connect application. However, some functions may not work properly.
