2 Your Future is our Business Maestro Financial Services has been orchestrating the finances of individuals, families and companies small and large for decades. We provide advice right across the financial services spectrum, from complex pensions and investments to mortgages and areas such as equity release and funding for long-term care. Although we retain our local identity and loyal client base, today Maestro has grown to become a national business, advising clients the length and breadth of the country with funds under management of over 130 million. These include many high-profile clients and large businesses. From our origins in 1984, thousands of clients have trusted us to look after their financial planning needs and those clients have mainly been acquired through recommendation. In 2008, at the request of its owner, we took over the financial services client base of Shaw Heath Insurance Services; and, in 2010, following a long-standing association with the 40 year old firm Kay Webb & Co, we successfully incorporated their business under the Maestro name.

4 An Experienced Team Since our beginnings, we have successfully built teams of highly qualified specialists to advise and protect our valued clients. Today, Maestro employs staff with over 180 years of experience within the financial services industry between them. The stability and longevity of our staff has been a vital feature in Maestro s success, enabling us to provide a continuity of service to clients that can sometimes be difficult to find in larger organisations. In addition, Michael leads our mortgage advice team. Andrew O Connell Dip PFS Senior Financial Consultant Andrew joined Maestro from Kay Webb & Co in 2010 and in total has more than two decades experience in the financial services industry. David Fraser-Clarke Dip PFS Senior Pensions Account Manager David Fraser-Clarke Dip PFS Senior Pensions Account Manager David has been in the financial services industry for over 35 years, for over a decade of which he has headed up Maestro s pensions advisory team. Kate Ridgway Head of Administration Kate Ridgway Head of Administration Kate has been providing workflow and general office administration management at Maestro for the majority of her almost two decades within the financial services industry. She holds the Certificate for Financial Advisors. Sara Bundey Financial Controller Sara Bundey Financial Controller Sara has more than a decade s experience in the financial services industry, the whole of which been spent with Maestro. With a degree in Accountancy and Economics; a postgraduate diploma in Law and a legal practice certificate, Sara is ideally qualified to control the company s financial aspects.

6 A Proposition Tailored to Your Needs The Maestro Client Proposition offers the investment solutions, expertise, products and services of a world class financial institution and, when requested or required, access to the whole of the market. In the first instance, our financial planners will consider products and solutions taken from the Sanlam portfolio. These are designed to deliver client centric, cost efficient access to the investment market and controlled management performance. Where this approach does not best meet your needs, for example where Sanlam does not offer a relevant product or indeed, where existing solutions prove most appropriate, we are able to recommend from the whole of market. In regulatory terms, Maestro Financial Services is termed a Restricted Advice organisation. We offer a strong, transparent, advice-led financial planning and wealth management proposition backed by both market leading risk analysis methodology and industry recognised investment management. It s a proposition which offers flexibility and strength, breadth as well as depth with exclusivity and accessibility in equal measure. 7 Delivering to Your Investment Mandate The foundation of our investment management process is a market-leading end to end investment process called Accel. Taking into account your financial objectives, risk tolerance and capacity for loss, it gives a clear understanding of what to expect from your investments and how realistic are your goals. This creates your investment mandate ; the set of rules as to how your money is to be both allocated and managed throughout the life of the investment. These rules, chosen with you at the point of advice help determine, guide and control the decision making process, placing defined risk and behavioural limits upon our investment management team, creating accountability, peace of mind and ensuring your money is continually invested as per your wishes. The Accel system, developed by Sanlam and unique in the UK, works efficiently to define and manage investment risk, not only within the range of model portfolios and discretionary fund management solutions offered by Sanlam but also those offered by other organisations.
8 Personal Financial Planning Whether you need a single, simple transaction or a full personal financial plan, you ll find the Maestro service is just as effective and efficient. We offer 3 levels of financial planning service. Over the years, many of our clients have started with a single transaction, developed through to a full financial plan and on to our Wealth Management service. Financial Planning covers a wide range of areas from saving for retirement, buying a home and protecting your family to the mitigation of inheritance tax and planning for long term care. Our financial planners will assist you in the development of bespoke financial strategies: solutions for the management of your financial affairs and the protection of your long term wealth. Once in place, your financial planner will concentrate on ensuring that your investments are performing to meet your objectives, remaining congruent to your needs by means of regular review, with advice built upon considered and consistent research formulated by our experienced back-office team. Where appropriate, we ll take a totally holistic approach to your future needs, providing advice on a variety of additional considerations, from taxation planning to wills and beyond.
