2 Assurance of Learning - Teaching Assurance of Learning - Teaching. Updated IB 333 assessment questions for AACSB assurance of learning Distance Learning Distance Learning. Atended 2013 Reboot Camp for faculty who want to learn how to teach online. Innovations in Course Content / Presentation Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Delivered new course in International Marketing (IB/MKT 601). This was done when the regular instructor Dr. De Silva was on sabatical Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Introduced new HBS case study for IB 333 and IB Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Introduced new edition of textbook for IB Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Included new Harvard and Ivey case studies in the the IB 333 and IB 600 courses Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Developed a course in Business Ethics that will be offered in Summer This course was developed as part of the 2011 OFDSS Faculty Fellowship that I was awarded in Spring of Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. New textbook introduced for IB 333. This was done to ensure a more contemporary content, as well as bring the teaching more line with the agreed upon objectives for AACSB Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Introduced a case pack in addition to the text book for IB 600. This pack includes two longer cases; a Harvard Business School case and an Ivey Business School case. This was done to give the students the experience of analyzing and synthesizing classic and contemporary management cases, as well as pull together the content that was covered in other parts of the course Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Developed a new course on Business Ethics that was scheduled to be offered in conjunction with the Honors program in Fall of However, the course was cancelled at the last minute because of low enrollment Innovations in Course Content / Presentation. Revised completely the course content, including the text book, for the IB 600 course in Fall of Although students really liked the old course materials and I got excellent evaluations for the course ('High'), I felt that it was too similar to the IB 333 course. The old textbook, although different, was by the same author (Mike Peng) of the textbook for IB 333 course, and there was a lot of overlap. So I switched to a new text book by Luthans and Doh, and among other innovations, started running more simulations in my class. Other Teaching Activities Other Teaching Activities.
