1 How to Update Bill Pay to Reflect a New Checking Account Type If you have changed checking account types, you will need to update your Home Banking Bill Pay Pay bills from: account if you have any scheduled or recurring payments. Immediately after your checking account type has been converted by ITCU, you will need to update the Bill Payment section of your Home Banking to reflect that change, so that your bills will process correctly out of the new account type. To update the Quick Pay section: Select the Pay bills from: drop down, shown above in a green circle. Select your new checking share type from the drop down list This will be listed as a suffix between CHECKING. Page 1

2 How to Update Bill Pay to Reflect a New Checking Account Type To update the Scheduled Payments section: To update your scheduled payments, you will need to update each individual merchant separately. You can click the Scheduled Payments link or each individual merchant as shown by the blue arrow on the prior screen shot. For each merchant in your Scheduled Payments, you will need to make this change: Select the Account drop down, as shown above with a blue arrow next to it. Select your new checking share type from the drop down list. This will be listed as a suffix of Repeat this process for each of your merchants under Scheduled Payments until all payments have been updated correctly. Page 2

3 If you have changed checking account types, you may want to update the Home Banking services listed below to reflect your new account type. Please note that none of these processes can be done until after your checking account type has been converted by ITCU. Your new checking type will be a suffix between Account Alerts ( Alerts) If you had Account Alerts on your previous checking account type, you will need to recreate those for your new checking account type and remove the old alerts. Click the Self Service tab in Home Banking, then under Additional Services click Account Alert. Page 1

4 If your account has been converted by ITCU already, you should see your new checking account type listed in the Account Alert dropdown amongst your old accounts. Choose your new checking account type from Account Alert account dropdown and click Go. Check the checkbox of any alerts you would like to receive on your new checking account type and complete them. Once you have completed all the alerts you would like to receive, click OK. Once your new checking account type s Account Alerts have been updated, remove your old Account Alerts. Choose your old checking account from the Account Alert account dropdown and click Go. Uncheck the checkboxes of your old Account Alerts then click OK. Page 2

5 Mobile Banking (iphone & Android App; Text Message Alerts; Mobile Browsing) You will need to update your account preferences for Mobile Banking if you currently receive text message alerts for your checking account or if you d like to update your account names and viewing preferences for these items. Click the Self Service tab in Home Banking, then under Additional Services click Mobile Banking. Click OK to continue into your Mobile Banking profile. Page 3

6 You will land on the My Phones tab; click My Accounts to view your available accounts. Under the My Accounts tab, you will see Eligible Accounts with their Mobile Banking Nickname. If your account has been converted by ITCU already, you should see your new checking account type listed here your old accounts. Check the checkbox under Eligible Accounts for your new checking account type; then add a Mobile Banking Nickname for it that you can remember. You can now uncheck the Eligible Accounts box for your old checking account type if you d like to remove it from your alerts or app s account listing. Or you can rename your old checking account type with a different Mobile Banking Nickname if you d like to be able to continue to view your old account history. Page 4

7 Scheduled Transfers If you had a scheduled transfer to or from your previous checking account type, you will need to recreate those for your new checking account type and remove the old transfers. Click the Account Access tab in Home Banking, then click Transfer Funds. As shown above to the right, in the Transfer Funds area (of the Account Access tab) you can update any Scheduled transfers you have, utilizing your new checking account type here. You will then need to delete your old scheduled transfers, first click Scheduled Transfers. On the Scheduled Transfers page, you will see an Action of Delete. Click that to delete your Scheduled Transfer linked to your old checking account type. A pop-up window will ask you Are you sure you want to delete this transfer? Click OK to delete it. Page 5

8 Preferences Using the Preferences link under the Personal Info header on the Self Service tab you can update what accounts show on your Home Banking Overview tab s Account Summary to reflect your new checking account type, as well as reset your Default Bill Pay Account. From the Preferences screen you can change your Default Bill Pay Account from your old checking account type to your new checking account type. You can also update your Account to display history on the Overview page as well as your different accounts displayed on the Overview page via the Account Summary Sort. The dropdowns under the Account Summary Sort will list all of your account choices, select your five preferred accounts to have listed on your Overview tab and click OK. NOTE: The change will not occur to the overview page until you log out of home banking and log back in. Page 6
