2 International Institute Life Beyond Tourism By the Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco In 2013 the Foundation founded the International Institute Life Beyond Tourism. The creation of this structure allows the launching of an ongoing research on issues of Life Beyond Tourism and on their applications. Florence, November 2014
3 CONSIDERING That a peace based exclusively upon the political and economic arrangements of governments would not be a peace which could secure the unanimous, lasting and sincere support of the peoples of the world, and that the peace must therefore be founded, if it is not to fail, upon the intellectual and moral solidarity of mankind. 4 REFERRING TO UNESCO Convention 1972 as TOOL UNESCO Conventions (2003, 2005), Quadra Convention of the European Council (2005) and especially: The International Decade for the Rapprochement of Cultures, ( ) promoted by Irina Bokova, UNESCO Director-General, the UNESCO National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ISESCO and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on August 23, 2013, in Almaty, in which joint initiatives to foster intercultural dialogue, tolerance, mutual understanding and respect for cultural diversity leading to peaceful coexistence are recommended
5 VISION Peace is the over - embracing value of humanity and one of the major objectives in development strategies. The combination of a widespread heritage value based education, combined with the ever - growing travel opportunities has a strategic potential for knowledge, understanding and intercultural dialogue leading to respect for diversity and peaceful coexistence and for the sustainable development of living environments and of humanity in general. Doing so the Foundation hopes to enhance with the local population and their visitors.

8 MISSION For a sustainable development, to foster human relationships, knowledge and respect for cultural diversity by means of a widespread heritage value education to the benefit of heritage and territorial conservation and human development through the application of the "Heritage Community Life Beyond Tourism", the Model, its User Manual and Certification of Travel and Dialogue as a contribution to peace in a world that moves towards 10 billion inhabitants. past present future
9 MISSION Therefore: The International Life Beyond Tourism Institute is a forum for reflection, active research and development of relevant professional practice in dialogue oriented heritage value communication in different cultural environments as a contribution to the respect for cultural diversity, peaceful coexistence and sustainable territorial and human development.
10 MISSION To realize its vision the Institute will: set standards of such practices which reflect appropriate regional cultural responses to the above mentioned challenges and goals. disseminate this information to all relevant operational partners, empower local authorities and initiatives by means of capacity building.

12 OUTCOMES The Institute will be an operative centre for exchanges, projects, workshops and seminars. It will be supported by the LBT Portal and by e-learning exchanges and by its head office in Florence. The Institute will set up a series of research and development projects for professional practice of heritage communication in different parts of the world in cooperation with local or regional authorities.
13 International and regional training and educational seminars, conferences and workshops with local and regional partners using its international network of experts Assist local and regional partners in the development of Life Beyond Tourism related initiatives. Produce educational materials and publications such as the Life Beyond Tourism Manual for different relevant actors. The Ed.0 of the users manual for the application of the Life Beyond Tourism Operational Model has been prepared.
14 ORGANIZATIONAL Partnerships All potential partners, which share the Foundation s vision and are interested in operational partnership, can join the Foundations and the Institutes initiatives in one or more themes that are presented in the Foundations flower: encounters, communication, knowledge, conservation, economy within the four pillars of development mentioned by UNESCO: environmental, social, economic, cultural and presented in the in annexure drafted virtual forum. 22 ANNEX The future of the Institute is closely linked to the participation of experts, professionals, youth... belonging to the network of the Foundation. 1. The Institute, in order to be able to formulate and build what expressed in the 'mission', intends to take a census:. of the professionals of the Foundation's network who will join the program. of the skills and scientific content proposed to be in line with those set out in the operational grid. 2. This double Census will allow the Scientific Committee to formulate professional training programs in the thematic strands.
